Comparing the Go and the Vita is like comparing the Gameboy Advance Micro and the NDS.
What @Akiro said, I had mine a day or two before the Japanese release, cause they sent it a bit early. Being enjoying it since then.

Vita has good games and the incoming games will be great. It is also good on browsing internet as well xDD not to mention the touch screen feature which can most likely rub it on all sides (Uncharted's rubbing artifact minigame xDD) xDD
Still waiting for hack xDD Vita can now hack psp games to play free xDD

I wanted one but then I released I would only be playing Gravity Rush, Playstation All-Stars: Battle Royale, and Project Diva f. Though you could get one, remember the library is limited at the moment, though that's to be expected since it was released this year.
人類は調和したのか?VY2V3 = Me | Kagamine Len Act 1 = You
At this point. It really isn't worth it. I had the same question a while ago but I ended up not getting it because it has lack of games currently. If you wait a longer, you'll see a lot of great games coming out for it, then it would be worth it. For now, if you really need a handheld system then I'd recommend the 3DS because it has a better game library right now, and you wouldn't be disappointed. If you really like the other features of the Vita though, like the ability to watch Netflix and Youtube ( I don't know if you can watch Youtube on the 3DS) or the ability to download PSP/PS1 games, then if you do spend your money on the Vita now, it's not a waste.
I think it depends on your gaming preferences--like, whether you prefer the typically mature and cool image of Sony games or the cutesy and fun image of Nintendo games. Generally, third-party support shouldn't be an issue for either handheld, so in the end it comes down to exclusives. Sony tend to release more "mature" games, but as someone put it, they can be too technical (menus and such can look needlessly complex and fiddly (if you've seen a typical menu of a Sony Bravia TV you might know what I mean...)), which sometimes goes at the expense of fun. Nintendo tend to release more kid-friendly games, but arguably they're more fun to play and challenging nonetheless--also, Nintendo games typically have great replay value!
If you're a Nintendo fan (like me) and like Nintendo characters, go for a 3DS XL; I could recommend some top titles too, including Kid Icarus, Mario Kart 7 and Resident Evil: Revelations! You can also play DS games on the 3DS, as well as Virtual Console stuff through Nintendo eShop. The PS Vita is (unsurprisingly) more powerful than the 3DS, features a more advanced touchscreen and has more advanced multimedia capabilities, but does not support 3D (which isn't the most important thing in a game, but imo, does add an extra sense of involvement to games), has not had the best of receptions, and is lacking decent games (The 3DS has a better games library atm). That being said, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale might pick up PS Vita sales; and to be fair, the PS3 has done well despite also having a dissapointing launch.
actually it's really worth it now since there are cool games coming
Had mine for a few months. Beat Uncharted and haven't touched it since. I have Persona reserved so it might get more gameplay later on, but we'll have to see. I originally purchased it because I found out that they were getting FFX for it and it was cheap.(around $100 since someone gave me a gift card) Right now it's gathering dust right next to my 3DS. Maybe I wasn't meant for handhelds.
I wanted psvita but................
The Price is so expensive... <I think>
I dont think will be good for buy that.. And I dont like playing handheld console...
Also
I only intrest at Persona 4 Golden
Just that game I Thing cool in psvita, cuz another console not have P4G
So, It would be nice if there is psvita Emu for PC.. :3

I couldn't really comment on that since I've never played it (I think it's called Theatrhythm Final Fantasy); but from what I've read, it sold well in Japan and got overall positive reviews. I saw some screenshots a while back and the concept got me pretty excited, especially since I'm not really much of a Final Fantasy fan (I do like RPGs, but most FF games are just too stat-tastic for me to enjoy). The only FF game I've played really is Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy seems more like a side-story FF game with a lighter gameplay approach; plotwise it's supposed to be similar to Dissidia Final Fantasy, but that's about all I know. If you like FF music though, I don't think you'll be dissapointed in buying the game--there's plenty of challenge and content in it too!

The 3DS should be good once they release a good Region Free hack. Otherwise I would have gotten a Japanese 3DS long ago but eh...I waited a few months after the American on release cause I lost interest. Bad thing, I can't connect to the internet smh.
I haven't been keeping up with the scene though.
Get a Vita though, no point of getting a handheld you already own.

I bought that game for the DS. It's fun. There's no story to it at all. It's just an FF rhythm game, plain and simple. The RPG aspect of it is kind of dumb since you get higher scores when you don't equip anything at all, but the overall fun factor is great if you're into rhythm games at all. It doesn't get too repetitive since there are three types of ways they play out the music and although I thought even the hard mode was pretty easy, I think that was only because I'm used to playing music-based games. There's plenty of challenge and replay value to keep you going for a while. I also heard they were coming out with more music as DLC, so I might go back to playing it if I find any more songs I like.

I'm waiting on a price drop or model revision. The Vita is a beast handheld no question but the price tag, meh battery life, and proprietary memory prices really turned me off. I mean come on, 99.99 for 32 gigs of space? That's adorable. I understand they're selling it at cost and they have to profit somewhere, but as a consumer/potential buyer I don't care.
Maybe in another year (hopefully when the game selection's a bit more substantial as well).
