On topic: I'd actually like gaining a forum and getting full modship instead of just probie. It would actually be less work for me since I could directly remove spam from more locations than before. General anime/manga is a frequent target of spambots so I'd love to help out there some more.

It goes, even if some think it's stalled somewhere (Mostly due to prior work needing to be accomplish before we start the training process and all, because it'd suck to apply for and start working in an area that ends up absorbed into or destroyed by another area shortly after you start.)... I don't think we've set a close on applications yet, so you're more than welcomed to submit one to @Kaitou Ace for review, if you haven't done so already. Just read carefully through the OP and PM him.

J/K! Nah, we're still working out kinks and issues atm with the forum trying to cover our bases before we move on. Like it's been said before, there's no sense thrusting new folks into a situation that'll change shortly after, with or without guidance and training from experienced folks (Partly because us experienced folks have to get used to them first, otherwise it's just a headache for everyone involved).

Trust me, I know how it feels to be in your shoes. I asked Kaitou about being a chat admin ages and a half ago (somewhere around 2006-ish). Got nowhere. Hell I'm pretty sure he forgot, because I know I did a couple of times. Then I end up saying I'll look after Western/Non-Jap, when no one else was offering or wanting to and I was really excited about the section (like in 2013?). Now look at me... I'm still the same loser I was back then. lol And in all fairness, I'm glad I didn't become a staff member until when I did. With everything I had going on irl during all of that (Especially from 2006-2011), it would've probably ended badly for me. So I'm thankful I had the extra time to mature some before getting thrusted into things.

As we've already seen, the changes to Art and Anime sections have been implemented, that's two big items off the list. But there's still a long list of things to do, especially for our Site Admins and all the hard work they're doing with the coding and reconfiguring. As @FlashD has told me many a time over many a project, "It'll be ready when it's ready, and that's when I decide it's good enough to be ready." XD

Finally... No, I can't tell you anything about what we've been saying behind your backs lol J/K the discussions and decisions that have been made or still need to be made. What I can say is there's definitely a decent turn out and submissions, each are all being taken into serious consideration by all the current staff. Also, there's a decent amount of staff willing to assist and train the newcomers.
