Sig pic help

I have an image on my computer that I want to use for my sig pic. But when I try to upload the picture, it only asks for the URL. It doesn't give me the option of uploading from my computer. I got this image from a friend and he forgot the webiste that the picture came off of. So how do I get this picture a URL? I tried flickr but it's not giving me a URL for it. When I put in the URL of the picture's page from flickr, a box with a red X comes up in the sig pic box. So how do I get this picture into my sig? I really need some help. Any help would be much appreciated.

the sig image up loader isn't working atm.

Try using an image uploading site like photobucket or imageshack and using the url between the image tags and post it in your sig.

Upload it to a site like Photobucket or Imageshack. But there's a field for uploading from the desktop. Just click browse under the custom avatar settings.

Thanks a lot! But actually what I did was I uploaded the picture to my albums on here, then I copied the URL code beneath the photo. But next time, I'll just do what you guys said. Thanks again!

Either way is fine really. It's just personal preference which one you decide to use.
