So it didn't take long as it has been 100% confirmed that Xbox and Windows 10 will be getting cross-playablity. Additionally, they are allowing developers to support cross-network play as wellm so players on Xbox One and Windows 10 using Xbox Live will be able to play with players on different online multiplayer networks, possibly PSN and it says other PC networks, possibly Steam, Origin, GoG, and UPlay.
This is what we have been waiting for for ages, and this is a very great thing for consumers. The only bad thing about this is that if mostly all Xbox One games come to PC (Gears 4 is rumored) and if developers allow PS4 x Xbox One then my Xbox One is completely useless. Naturally if Xbox One users aren't interested in PS4 exclusives, it can work the same way as well.
Overall, if everyone jumps the ship, this could be a good thing for gamers. Even though they are probably inviting the Nintendo Network as well, I really doubt they will do it, especially since they got no nultiplats coming to the system besides Might No. 9.
