I Am Setsuna
And might soon start up No Man's Sky again.
And I should get The Witness.
I've been mostly playing BF1, Fifa 17, wild hunt and the TLOU. (I know, I'm an utter pleb)
Previously Darkfire Knight....
I got a tablet for Christmas so I've been playing wizard of Oz slots of all things = P I play Valkyrie Crusade from time to time as well. What I'd really like to play is Tera. Unfortunately I don't have a computer right now that can run it
Tales of Berseria
Just finished Dark Cloud 2 this week. Picked up The Legend of Heros: Trials of Cold Steel. Will play Trials of Cold Steel 2 once finished with the first one.
Right now I am currently playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on the PS2. Old school I know, but it's still fun.
So. Much. Overwatch.
No power in the 'verse can stop me...
Witcher 3 Complete Edition. Pretty fun so far, I've been mostly ignoring the main questline.

just finished a second run on DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS, and am now making a first attempt on HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA.
DQB is an instant classic, right in my top-5 VGs for now and all time. NEPTUNIA, however, is, shall we say, MEH...

Still playing Trials of Cold Steel like in my last post expect now I've added Gravity Rush 2. It's really fun and I like playing it. Though I forgot how dizzy I feel playing like I did with the first one.
I've been playing Minecraft a lot lately. It's a relaxing game to play after working your butt off all day...Want to play the last of us
Warframe. New quest was released so I'll spend a few hours on it then go back to Overwatch or start Mass Effect 3 again.
No power in the 'verse can stop me...
well, while the "Gameplay" of NEPTUNIA is most definitely "MEH" more like a TOTAL D.R.A.G.
even so, the characters do manage to grow on you the farther you get in, and the English VA work is largely top notch, and contributes a lot to the principal characters charisma.
for my part, the core character "Compa" is just the best. she makes for a better "Mikuru Asahina" than the actual character herself.
her (Compa's) EN VA REALLY consistantly knocks it out of the park...

Now I've seen the screenshots, I'll definitely have to try Builders. I do love the Dragon Quest series, but the "Minecraft" style of the game was putting me off.
I've never understood the popularity of Neptunia. I tried the first one for PS3, and I could barely get through half an hour of it without losing interest. It just struck me as a relatively generic RPG.
Anyway, I digress.
Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse / Bloodborne.
i can scarcely sufficiently stress the superlative quality of gaming experience that is DQ BUILDERS. trust me, i am certain you'll positively adore it.
to keep it simple and to the point, it is a simplified JRPG MINECRAFT with a great story and endearing characters.
it is a must-own, a JRPG that allows one to improvise and build their way through it. it is probably my own personal No. 1 for now and all time...
it is, by and large. it's charms, such as they are, rely pretty much entirely upon the characters and their superb EN VA work, particularly "Compa" for my own personal part
since she pushes all of my "Mikuru Asahina" fondness buttons, and her EN VA REALLY sells the character. OH how i wish she would have been cast for Mikuru back in the day!!
at any rate, approached as an non-Hentai VN with superb english VA work, but a rather sub-par story and abysmal "RPG Gameplay"
i suppose you could say HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA is just this side of tolerable, at least for one with a vested interest in one or more of the characters.

There's really no excuse for me not to try it, since there's a (free) demo on the store and everything.
My only "negative" would be that it seems like there's wayyy too much to play nowadays!
Everybody has a backlog, myself included. This is especially vexing when there's a sale on and you end up buying a ton of stuff you'll likely not play for months, or until free time allows you the privilege.
Yeah, the background story for Neptunia seemed to be quite a brilliant concept, and I had no issue with the character design or the voicework, or even the visuals – It's as you said, the gameplay just lacked impact and the story wasn't at all what I had expected going in.
I was sold on the concept of a war between retro gaming consoles embodied as cute/curvy girls, but it just didn't seem to live up to my expectations.
It doesn't help that I keep seeing sequels and spin-offs released at a constant rate, which leaves me thinking: "Why?"
indeed. i seems that a series that began as a VERY clumsy tribute to SEGA Arcade classics has long since taken on a life all it's own.
i had gotten the first three PS3 entries a few years back, and an only now beginning to give them a try.
i've also the recent PS4 STAR OCEAN in the cue, and i'm gonna attempt to get as much of that done as possible
before late MARCH, when NISA releases that Touhou Genso Wanderer/Double Focus deluxe pack...
Lego Marvel Avengers
How'd You Like That On Your Lawn?!"I may be empty, but I'm not worthless!"
...Clear...
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Pretty fun so far, pretty spooky too.
