Knowledge. A weapon that no one can take away from you. No Game No Life comes to mind.
Excalibur from Fate/Zero.
Silence glaive from Sailor Moon (mostly nostalgia).
Warglaives of Azzinoth in WoW.

I don't really have any favorites. But I do like the weapons from Tokyo Mew New.

I see all, I know all.

because Itotallyhate the color red...
I usually pick magical characters so that would require a wand or staff.
the Harkonnen from Hellsing is pretty fearsome. i also remember seeing an anime where a girl's nipples stretched and acted like tentacles, that's also a fearsome weapon
Nero's Red Queen from DMC 4. It revs up like a motorcycle.
Vroom vroom! Slash.
can't believe i didn't think of this right off the bat. the Soul Reaver from the Legacy of Kain. it eats souls dude. and it looks fkn bada$$
Weapons that are obviously brutal bore the hell out of me. I prefer more obscure items that you wouldn't normally consider as weapons, and do more than simply beat opponents to a bloody pulp.
So, here are my faves...
Anime: The murderous wet towel (Eckilax) wielded by Zakuro-chan from Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan. Not only does this weapon have range and speed, and stings like hell, it's also humiliating to the opponent on the receiving end, as it additionally binds and contorts them into all manner of perverse positions.
Video Games: The fish variation of the Ultra Sword wielded by Kirby from Kirby's Return to Dreamland. It is quite literally, a gigantic fish (a sword-fish if you will), which rarely appears in Kirby's Ultra Sword transformation. Very handy, as the sheer weight (and probably the smell due the size) packs a punch, and I suppose you could always eat it later if you got hungry.
Agreed.

Tsuna's XGloves, Ichigo's Zangetsu, Maka's scythe, Zero's Bloody Rose,...the list can go on.
There are people in this world that enjoy being alone, but there isn't a single person who can bare solitude.
Do dragons count as a weapon? I like hiraikotsu from Inuyasha.
