Baseball.
Bourbon.
The fact that death is not very healthy.

Waiting for God to reveal my purpose in this life. Still have some family around that I care for as well.

My faith in a Higher Power motivates me. Also, my hope for humanity.

Why do you feel you need a reason to live? Do babies have a motivation to live? Wild animals?
The purpose of life is to live. Motivation is not necessary.
If anything, it is the the other way around. You need a reason to stop living.

That reminds me of this scene from "Iria: Zeiram the Animation" from 10:45-11:00 mark:
Dying hurts alot more...

Then there's this:
The Marx Brothers make life worth living.

Love also motivates me. Ever stare out at the rain lightly falling outside, the overcast sky, and saying to yourself: I'm pretty fortunate to be where I am? Because the would can be such a cold dystopia that produces heartache in countries afar... Love is many things, and for me, its reflection in the weather can be pleasant and serene. I'm motivated then to savor each moment and live life, even though times can drag me down. Friends, cherish what time you have, and let love cover you with its shield, motivating you to be you, no matter if that drizzle turns into a deluge. Take heart.

Just being able to do stuff motivates me. I go a little nuts when I've been inactive too long so all I need to get myself motivated is to set some tasks to complete, and there's always something to do, whether it's cleaning/organizing, exercising, outside chores, games, reading, the list can go on forever.
What I find works for me is holding myself to a break system - for every hour of gaming I'll do at least half an hour for chores. I have an in-unit washer/dryer so that's a great tool since the dryer runs about an hour. When I didn't have in-unit I would set a timer. It's nice to reward myself with game time once I've done something productive.
Also, if you don't have an in-unit washer/dryer going to the laundromat with a Switch/DS is a great excuse to game for a couple hours while waiting for your laundry.
Whoa!
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
Hard times motivate me to do better than what I did yesterday, or yesteryear.

I mean, honestly, to put it quite simply: my grandparents. They raised me and have been the only people there for me in my life. I promised myself I would stick around long enough for them, but once they're gone, I won't be far behind. More than likely I'll be taking my life after they pass away just because I've seen enough and felt enough. I'm tired.
