Most emotional anime opening themes?

Recently, I decided to undertake to task of watching the Elfen Lied anime series.
So far after watching the intro once, I was stunned at how beautiful the music was.
I just had to look up the full intro theme and listen to the whole thing.
Here it is.

The song Lilium was preformed by the Japanese opera singer Kumiko Noma, and for me, this was the most emotional anime intro I've listened to so far.
So has there ever been an opening theme to an anime that has filled you with emotion?
Usually music that's emotional is sad and depressing since it carries a heavier weight, but there can also be happy music filled with emotions like love and honor.
Heavy emotions basically is what defines this thread's purpose, so I'm not asking for just any ol' anime intro.
But of course, it's all up to preference and objectivity, so all I'm asking is for honesty.

Its old stuff, not too dark, and its only TECHNICALLY an anime, but the Cybersix opening is pretty emotional. Also the thing about hiding as a man and loving a guy is deep i guess.

(I was wanting to post Sparkle from Kimi no Na Wa but after I saw the title of this thread, oh well )
Mine is 3-gatsu no lion op for anime op. the visual and the song really match. the meaning of lyric itself is so beautiful that wants to make you hold so many precious things
