I have one suggested correction on the translation for these lyrics:

痛いよ
味方だけど愛してないとか
守るけど側にいれないとか

They are currently translated as:

痛いよ
It hurts.
味方だけど愛してないとか
Like how we are friends but you don't love me,
守るけど側にいれないとか
Or how I can't be with people I'm protecting.

I propose:


痛いよ
It hurts.
味方だけど愛してないとか
Like how you're on my side but you don't love me,
守るけど側にいれないとか
or how you say you'll protect me but you can't be beside me.

My reasoning:

Using とか is a way of listing things out in the manner of examples, both of these sentences are linked by the same subject being the love interest, so then we are expecting that whose side that person is on and who that person said they'd protect is who is singing these lines, in the form of "for example, this(mikata=being on my side) but that(aishite'nai=don't love me) - or, this(mamoru="I'll protect you", implicitly) but that(soba ni irenai=can't be beside me)." Also, the subject didn't explicitly change, so not sure where protecting others comes in from...?
