Good match. Augmon has the power advantage while Pikachu has the speed advantage imo. Elements don't really play a factor since there is no type disadvantage. I would say Pikachu since he is faster and has a wider moveset.

I would have to say Ikkakumon for this one. I feel that Lapras has the speed advantage over Ikkakumon, but Ikkakumon has better defense since it's body covered in thick fur and it's suppose to have mithril on parts of its body. Also from what I read part of Ikkakumon's feet give of a high temperature which gives it good footing on ice and would probably make some of the ice moves a Lapras could know useless.

I Prefer Pokemon, mainly because of the games.
even though the goal is always the same, collecting different types and building teams are fun.

Also pokemon battles are more interesting than digimon battles,
mainly because of different possible strategies to use.

This thread has so many pages I dunno if I ever replied but I say Pokemon all the way! I love all the shows, I have keychains, shirts and pullovers. I'm a Pokemon fanatic! It was the first ever anime I watched as a child way before I even knew what anime was. Now my son is following in my footsteps at 4. He loves it too!

Simple: The anime to Digimon is clearly superior to the Pokemon anime. Whereas the Pokemon games are just pure awesomeness. So, yeah, Digimon - anime (first three seasons); Pokemon - Games. I'd rather watch a Digimon anime then start with any of the new seasons of Pokemon. Has anyone watched any of those newer Digimon or Pokemon anime?
