    @Galleya : Whats so funny?

    @Yoko Littner : It's more complicated than that, you gotta combine both book smarts and street smarts.

    Super Buu = Fat Buu and Skinny Buu merged
    Mega Buu = Skinny Buu merged with Fat Buu, Trunks, Goten, and Picollo
    Ultra Buu = Skinny Buu merged with Fat Buu, Trunks, Goten, Picolo, and Gohan

    Super Buu symbolizes America allying up with the British
    Mega Buu symbolizes America imperializing South Korea
    Ultra Buu symbolizes America imperializing Japan and South Korea

    The Cold War wasn't just Russia versus the United States.

    Cold War is NATO versus Warsaw Pact.

    Vegetto versus Buu symbolizes all the countries that are members of NATO versus all the countries that are members of the Warsaw Pact.

    Trust me, the Japanese aren't nerds, they make anime and video games that have alot of symbolism in it, usually with each character symbolizing a race or country. The Japanese combine both book smarts and street smarts. A nerd is someone that has just book smarts and no street smarts. Japanese aren't nerds because they have both. Plus, they got a high average IQ of 105.

    Check out my other post explaining symbolism in Japanese video games.

    has anyone here besides me actually read "Journey To The West"?
    Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

    this is really interesting!
    it might be a weird thought but, what if the symbolism in Dragonball Z or anime in general could change depending on, for example, the dubs compared to the original anime?
    for example i know that in Pokemon, the characters have very different personalities comparing the American to the Japanese version~~
