Phil, I'm just looking for your opinion on this as it just sparked as this person and I are seeing on levels that are much different.
This person is saying that smoking cigarettes is worse than smoking weed. Personally, I think this is an incorrect statement. The reason I'm saying this is because just like I've said before, weed has many more detrimental effects on both mind and body. Many new projected outcomes from smoking will arise as a result. I'm pretty sure the death toll from weed is higher considering the motivation to act based on past experiences and bad judgment would be one of the main causes aside from automobile deaths. Also, those urinalysis exams aren't the only way to detect drugs in someone. Blood tests can also be administered.
I see where you're coming from when including alcohol. Any normal person would make a bottle of liquor or a pack of beer last for some time instead of just finishing it quick and bringing it back up hours later with a side order of regret. Would you see a petition being issued by those not tolerating the use of weed were it legal? But if it was legal it would be regulated like alcohol. You couldn't smoke it in public places, at work, in schools etc. Alcohol is legal even though it is far more damaging to your health and the health of others. All the points you made could be made for alcohol. People can easily spend over 50 a night on alcohol. Alcohol can easily cost far more than weed and is legal.
