The photo isn't available...
Also you're gonna need a bit more than a photo to kick off a thread, otherwise it may be considered spam and deleted.
UUUUGH I SPENT HOURS TRYING TO GET THE PIC LOADED!!! Do you know how to put a picture on a thread
I typically upload it to a photosharing site like photobucket, imageshack, imgur, etc., then take the link to it put it in the post and [img][/img] around the link.
Thx for the help!!!
Are we going to get this pic or not?
I think I know why it didn't work. For some reason, the link he tried to use took the actual image data and converted it into a weird URL that contained a base 64 string, which was then wrapped in the IMG tags, rather than just keeping the image link itself. I don't know why that happened, but it appears that that is why the image didn't show properly with the IMG tags. I was able to see this by quoting his post. Here's a portion of it, from which I have removed the IMG tags.
Of course it is actually MUCH longer than that.
When I used the online base64 decoder over at the website opinionatedgeek.com and saved the resulting file to my harddrive, and used a hex editor to look at the header to see what kind of file it was, it was a JPG file. I then changed the file extension to jpg and uploaded it to Imgur, so that it can be PROPERLY embedded here in a forum post.
Here's the image in question.
