Yeah I saw these on George Takei's FB page. I'm still amazed at the hatred that some can spout off at silly stuff like this. If you want to have an opinion one way or the other thats fine, your entitled to it. But some just spew off hate filled stuff that I just shake my head at, cause I really wonder where its coming from.
Are you serious! The ppl who wrote those comments should be shot. They don't deserve Oreos anyway!
I'm not surprised that ONLY the close-minded, religious zealots, and such posted to it. I'm sure anyone posting in favor of, or admitting to being gay would be hunted down and harassed. Once again, another reminder that the USA is "progressive" is a BIG fat joke. But when you consider the shear number of products they will now have to avoid,,,,,, they'll be dying of starvation.
But you know what REALLY gets me about ALL those posts about "I'll never buy them again", or "I refuse to support a company that supports homosexuality". The ones posting that stuff really won't give the stuff up, they'll still be waddling their fat bottoms into the nearest grocery store and buying 3-4 boxes for the week to feed their tubby 4.75 kids. Complaining about sin around a mouth full of Oreo cookies, YES my friends COOKIES, plural. Wonder how those people would feel if they were trapped in a car about to explode, and the only ones able to save them in time is a van full of gay men? Or they need emergency surgery,,, but the only doctor who could do it was,,, (looks around then whispers) gay?
I've seen it a lot, too. I just rolled my eyes, they're ignorant anyways.
@Jasanime , you're quite right (though I guess shoting would be a bit too much :P), nor oreos nor the other brands that support hommesexual products stated above.
That's a comment!
I am not gay and don't like to see gay's kissing on TV or whatever but let's not be closed-minded, they're people as we all are, most of them even suffer a lot due to their homosexuality, guess not only my 70 year old grandfather thinks so dumb about gays

"Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds."

"I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details."
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
I can put it as this: I'm actually ashamed to be Catholic. :/
Don't be, I already am! Remember that no matter that God created Church, it's still filled with humans, sinners like we all are.
If you believe Him, if He makes you happy, then you shouldn't be ashamed of your faith, no matter other people with that same faith do the biggest atrocities

Good! Let them boycott. Most of them are probably morbidly obese anyway so they don't need any more calories~
As much as I think it's sad that one is ashamed of their faith. I completely understand. The Catholic religion keeps pushing me further into becoming an Agnostic.
lol God didn't create the Church. Human's created the Church to worship God(s). Granted I firmly agree with your last statement. We shouldn't be ashamed to believe in what we believe in, even if some or many misrepresent it to commit acts of evil or hate under the preception of good.
Either way. If people are boycotting Oreos for their LGBT stance, they're missing out in what I feel is probably some of the best ideas and/or concepts of humanity. Loving someone regardless of society or other people's interpretation of right and wrong, and of course Oreos.
I think it's all because people are filled with lies in their heads by their parents or religion. Christianity claims homosexuality to be a sin, I guess I understand why it would be thought of such as it kind of decreases the population but I honestly think we have enough of people on this planet. Religion itself is a joke, take Christianity for example - you're not supposed to work on Sundays yet look at priests. Religion is a contradiction. Flaming someone because of their sexual orientation is wrong - I mean, they're not being affected by their homosexuality. Oh and don't take me wrong, I'm not gay or anything (at least I don't think), but I'm not over hear wasting my time typing up these comments just to tell someone off for being gay. Society has become a dump and we're all being thrown in.

Well as Jesus instructed the apostoles to create the Church and as Jesus is God I suppose it's not very wrong to say that God created the Church, is it?
But indeed, there always were and always will be people who claim to do things in God's name but which are just doing the evil for self-benefict per example, it's a shame but God loves us so much that freedom is absolute, so those kinda of people will not cease to exist and God will love them as much as He loves me or you or everybody else, no matter that one person retributes that love.
"Loving someone regardless of society or other people's interpretation of right and wrong" - that's just a deep and grat sentence

Though religion may be filled with contradictions hard to explain even for the Church, God is everything but contradiction

What do you mean? When Galileo went to go tell the Church about his discovery (finding out that the Earth was/is NOT the center of the universe), they locked him up forever. You know why? So the followers of the church wouldn't gain disbelief, why was this necessary? To continue making money. The Church is a money making scheme.
False, Jesus had his followers spread the good news about his Father's words. In the long run, men decided to build the church to be close to God.
Number two, Jesus is not God, but the son of God. Somewhere in the scriptures, and I have no time to look for it and such, Jesus said that he is only the son of God and he is not greater or equal to his Father.
besides the usual "people are so closed minded... more so.. why do they still exist I wonder" idea
...
I honestly, wonder how that multicolored oreo would taste like.. or am I the only one who's thinking about that..
lol

Man that is whack! But dumb people are gonna do stupid crap like this anyways. Boycotting Oreos because of that? Why don't they stop the nonsense and do something else like read a book?

Well, Jesus say he is along to the father and he also said he is God indeed, God Son, being "normal God" God Father and finally there is God Holy Spirit, which is mentioned in the scriptures but not directly stated it's God (it was a Church "creation")

Yes, in this matters of faith and stuff it's very hard to convince other people even with an elaborated speaking, and surely it depends on how one looks at it (and also, on how septical one is :P)
