◆◆◆ The Legend of the Farlands ◆◆◆
Somewhere in a distant land, there lies a realm known as The Farlands. This land is much different from Earth, far different. This is a realm of not only Humans, but other races, such as cat-like people, known as Nekos, and a large, strong, genderless race, called the Organs. All these, children of Thinite, the almighty god who watches over The Farlands.

The Farlands holds many wonders and horrors. Beautiful magical places, lush forests, and bustling towns cover the land. However, bands of Orcs and curses constantly thread the people. This is a land of Magic, Wonders, and Adventure.

◆◆ A Forest Under Infection ◆◆
The times in The Farlands were not all that different from Earth, at least the Medieval times weren’t. However, races did not have witch hunts, or segregation within themselves. There was, however, war and struggle. Some races still hated the greed of the humans, or the rituals of the Nymphets, or even the Organs, merely for their size and authority. But in a dark time within the early Middle Age, Enseffer Forest faced a disaster that devoured anything that lived.

Enseffer forest was the largest and lushest forest in The Farlands, and was home to two races: the Sixtens and the Nekos. No one knew where it came from, or how it spread. All that was known is that this disease spread to anything that lives; trees, animals, and even the people. It’s dark crimson shade made trees rot. The infection crept into the bodies of animals and all that was left was a rotting corpse of blood. People who caught the disease would feel nothing for the first hour, but then cough violently, and become weak. Eventually, death greets those who are infected.

The horrible disease became known as Fallon, the ancient Neko word for ‘fall into red’. However, Thinite pitied the Nekos, because of their selfless acts and praise towards him, Thinite cried a single tear for the small race. This tear, the Blue Drop, became the key to the save Enseffer Forest. God told the Neko people through hints of the location of the Blue Drop. Nekos, along with the help of others made a great effort. It was a fight against time, if the Nekos fail, Enseffer Forest will be left in dark-red ruins, and two races will be left extinct.

◆◆◆ Sample Characters◆◆◆

Karpai Character: (DemonSlayerThe3rd’s 1st Character)
Name: Ren “Suigi” Lee
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Shape-shifted Forms: Ren is a little young for his talents, but none the less, he is skilled in shape-shifting. He can turn mostly into animals and weapons his size. He does a leap into the air, his body liquidizes and churns in different directions, until it looks like a lime-colored fluid. Then as he drops, he forms into the desired object. Sometimes he uses this to his advantage, when he wants to throw himself at someone he can quickly shift into a sword to to some nice damage.
Spells:

Illusionist - Ren focuses on one person and cause them to experience illusions of his choice. It takes quite a bit of concentration, though, but usually, the illusions are very convincing.
Illustration - Ren can paint pictures with his fingers in the air whenever he wants to. He uses magic to do so, and he can also wipe it away with a cloth he always carries in his pocket.
Kizz - Ren has the ability to cause small explosions with a glance of his eye and the snap of his finger, but he has to be quick to be successful, otherwise he ends up blasting back himself.
Flash-Step - Ren is quick, but becomes even quicker with the Flash-Step. When chasing, he can use this to gain an advantage. It looks as if he teleports about 10 feet ahead of himself.
Lightening Blast - When push comes to shove, Ren can shove lightening. A forward movement of his palm will cause lightening to erupt from it. But this drains Ren quite a bit if it’s used more than once.
Sparkles ‘n’ Glitter - Ren can heal minor wounds with a wave of his hand. He jokingly added the effect of sparkles and glitter to give it a little humor. It even makes the jangling sound. Ren cannot heal sicknesses or curses, however, much less the Fallon.
Astral Vision - Using this spell, Ren’s vision will shift from his eyes to several feet above his actual body. The color of his sight will turn into shades of blue, but he will be able to see animals through solid objects, as well as anything that is invisible. Ren cannot maintain this for more than thirty seconds however.

Personality: Overall, Ren is a mixture of seriousness and determination with some leaned-back traits. The people who know him can say easily that he will switch from humor to seriousness in a snap, especially when he’s protecting someone, or something. Ren can be confusing because of this, and some people aren’t sure if he’s serious enough, if they don’t see his straight frown and dire eyes. People also say that his eyes can be read like a book, if you know what the signs are. He is quite insecure about his powers, and sometimes melts down over little things.
Appearance: Ren’s body is almost childish from first look, small, skinny, and young looking. His skin is a soft green, and smooth too. He is a little short, but his wavy blond hair makes him look tall. It’s bunched up in an almost afro manner, but it’s also soft and has an almost calmness sense to it. Ren’s eyes are a bright yellow, shining his humor right out into the person he smiles at. His expression, thought, speak words of it’s own. When he’s not smiling, one can almost sense seriousness, or sorrow, or even annoyance.
Ren wears a purple tunic, nearly looking like a solidly-colored sailor uniform for his top. A white strip runs along the edges of the tunic. It also has a lot of pockets that Ren carries his things in. Even when he has his pockets full, though, he still appears skinny. His lower-wear are a somewhat darker shade of purple, with many strings hanging from it, which are just for decoration. Ren wears no shoes, but his feet are under a spell where it feels and acts as if he had shoes on. He doesn’t get cut or dirty.
History: Ren comes from an incredibly rich family, which he gets his insecurity from. He’s always liked things to be the best they can, an can freak out if there is a tiny flaw about himself. Because of this, people have often told him what he wants to hear, rather than the truth. When he turned 14, he decided to venture into the unknown, to meet new people. His family urged him to stay, and threatened that they wouldn’t give him servants that would protect him from the unclean. Still he went off, but before he did, one of the servant girls secretly gave his feet magical protection. Ren soon found himself in Enseffer forest, where he lived among the small Neko people. He’d always loved cats, and quite liked the little village. the Villagers also liked him as well, he aided the chief, helped those in trouble, and provided some entertainment too. He even met a nice little Nymphet in the forest as well, and as since been his companion. Ren didn’t know how, but he somehow developed a grudge against humans, he just doesn’t like the majority of them. Soon the Fallon spread to the village he was in. It was devastating to Ren, seeing his friends and life rot before his eyes. Ren now has a small part of the disease inside him, but somehow it hasen’t completely devoured him yet, perhaps because his Nymphet partner, Sunsulhi is with him. Ren vows to save the forest, even if it kills him.

Nymphet Character: (DemonSlayerThe3rd’s 2nd Character)
Name: Sunsulhi Obliskh
Age: 4
Gender: Female
Wing Type: Sunsulhi has two pairs of light-blue dragon-fly wings. They don’t flap as fast but they still keep her in the air.
Power:

Healing Kiss - Sunsulhi can heal large wounds by kissing the subject’s cheek very lightly. She can’t do it all the time, and she can only delay sicknesses. Once her kiss has been lifted, it will continue. Sunsulhi is also unable to lift curses.

Personality: Sun seems to worry about everything, and is quite pessimistic too. She can also be quite immature, which isn’t surprising considering her age. There isn’t much else to her, other than her being concerned about things. Other than this, Sun is quite likable, and cute.
Appearance: Sun’s is small and fragile, but also fast. She has adorable glistening eyes and long green hair. Both of which match her pale-blue skin nicely. Her wings shine with a pink and purple color, and flap quite fast too.
Appearance: Sun wears a green one-piece miniskirt dress. The skirt makes her hips look wider than they really are, and it ends in a zig-zag pattern. The dress seems to have two layers, one white, which is larger, and the top, lime green, making it look as if it has a white border. This dress is all she wears.
History: Sunsulhi had a nice caring family up until she turned 2. Her home was burned down by Elkens, and Sun was left with no home or family. She was alone, and cried for days. Traveled to Enseffer forest where she hid in the tree trunks. She began to hate the Elkens and made a routine of biting any that she sees, once. She remained homeless, until Ren found her. He adopted Sun in a way, and the two of them stayed with each other ever since. Now that the village Ren was staying at has been infected, they are both on a journey to stop the Fallon, what ever it takes. But although he doesn’t know it, Ren has the disease. Sun constantly retains her Healing Kiss on him to make sure he isn’t killed from it.

Neko Character: (Teru Murasame’s 1st Character)
Name: Jin Kobayashi
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality: Of all the Nekos, he is the most withdrawn- mainly preferring to work by himself than with his pack. This has earned him the title "Lone Wolf". In battle, he is prone to lash out with extreme violence, and is rumored to have actually eaten some of his opponents.
Appearance: He stands about 6 feet tall, has dark green eyes and dark brown fur with blue highlights. The highlights are natural and form tribal symbols throughout his body
History: Not knowing his true purpose in this life- as well as not knowing who his true parents are- Jin Kobayashi was an outcast his entire life. Coming of age within his pack, he was prone to having bouts of rage and violence while on hunts or with fighting against rival packs. A rumor has been spread that he went as far as eating the still-beating heart of a victim he faced in combat- although this has never been confirmed and is therefore strictly myth. As he earned the controversial title of “Lone Wolf”, he began having visions of pain and darkness. These premonitions were deemed truthful by the Pack’s Seer- for the Fallon has already proliferated The Seer has also prophesied that it is Jin who must lead the search for the coveted “Blue Drop”...

Elkei Character: (Teru Murasame’s 2nd Character)
Title: Raito
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Skills: Raito is an Esper- one of the few Elkei with telepathic ability. He is able to read anyone’s mind, as long as he isn’t fatigued or if the subject being read has not set up any “mental blocks”- usually set by another Esper. He can also use his power to psionically attack an enemy- although these attacks are mentally draining.
Personality: Raito is rather intelligent considering his age, however he is looked down upon and out-spoken due to his age and his “gift”. Nevertheless, he is always willing to learn new things and train hard in order to better himself. He is polite and he always answers with “Sir” or “Ma’am”.
Appearance: Raito stands at about 6’4” with crimson skin and bright blue eyes.
History: Born into a poor social class, Raito constantly pushed himself to climb up the social ladder at an early age. With an innate capacity for learning, Raito was placed in the most advanced learning environments reserved for older and more wealthier Elkei. However, with the discovery of his mental powers, he was accused of cheating his way through school and was expelled. Faced with the scrutiny of having his power, he vowed to only use his power in dire emergencies. With the proliferation of the Fallon, however, he must use his power sooner rather than later. With his family gone and the Elkei people suffering, Raito will stop at nothing to combat this disease...

♥ Neko Character ♥
Name: Rin Mizu
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Personality: Sarcastic, unpredictable, and with good intentions. She likes causing trouble, but can be kindhearted at random moments in time.
Appearance: Rin has large blue-green eyes with black slit-pupils - however one eye has a scar through it, making her partially blind (nobody knows where the scar came from). She is pale-skinned (peach-green), and the parts of her body that have fur (tail, ears, paws) are purple, with black stripes. Her claws are bright silver and her teeth are sharpened. Rin likes wearing loose-fitting shirts and pants, usually made out of tree bark and leaves or hand-stitched. She keeps spare daggers in a charmed pouch around her neck in case she ever finds herself in a tight situation, or without her dagger.
History: When Rin was little, her dad taught her self-defense at a very young age. She has become, over the years, extremely skilled whenever it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Shortly after her dad told her she had finished her training when she was 5, he was found dead above ground and in the middle of a nearby woods. Rin's mother raised Rin and her six younger siblings (half boys and half girls) for 10 years after her husband's death, before she fell fatally ill. Rin fears that her mother will die soon, because Nekos often die from fatal injuries, and this type of sickness is the same Fallon that has plagued most of the Farlands. Searching for a cure to help her mother overcome Fallon and not meet the same fate as her father, Rin has started out on her own journey to go find the Blue Drop, and to get the clues that other Nekos appeared to be getting.

Shape-shifted Forms:
Kage's shapeshifting abilities are unstable, for reasons he doesn't know, and so struggles to gain complete control of any forms of anything he attempts to make. He can however have only parts of his body change but has to retain the correct mass to do so, as any shapeshifter would commonly, causing him to become thinner and weaker. As he shifts his body melts down into a black fog that clings close together before reforming into the shape. This form is difficult to damage with slash and projectile damage due to it's nature. When under stress or using magic too much he changes into this fog like form and struggles to reform. He has no control of this change.

Spells:

Deep Shadows: Allows Kage to turn invisible. Has two conditions that have to be fulfilled before he can use it. One he must be in a shadow or darkness of some kind. Two he has to keep his eyes shut while in the shadow. This spell is thereforth not used to sneak around but more hide in one place, though he is capable of moving while invisible.
Cloak and Daggers: This spell is used by Kage to turn one object in contact with him invisible. Does not work on living creatures. The object stays invisible only as long as he keeps the spell going or keeps contact with it.
Hunters Moon: When used Kage has to cover his right eye. His spell allows Kage to see in the dark, as well as highlighting invisible object (they appear outlined in silver). If he doesn't cover his right eye he can be temporary blinded in it.
Eclipse: When cast all light around Kage, commonly within an orb shape with a rough radius of 6 feet, dim and go out creating darkness. The stronger the source of light the longer it takes going out. Candles and such go out almost instantaneously, where as a roaring fire or magic spell would take a few minutes. It cannot stop sunlight, though it can limit the amount that enters the orb. The more light it dims the more energy it consumes.
Void: Cancels all magic within 10 feet of Kage and prevents magic being cast. The area is fixed, so if Kage moves it stays where it is. It lasts approximately 2 minutes. When cast, all spells currently being used stop, anything magic based is destroyed, and anything magic entering the area suffers the same effect. Magic spells do not reappear when it ends. It can affect Curses but it is temporary and they will return when it expires. A feeling of ice it felt when ever anyone attempts magic while within the area. Using this spell it dangerous to Kage and in addition to causing extreme pain he always collapses into his fog like form after a few moments. Has only ever used it once in his life and it brought him close to death, he does not wish to repeat it, but can not forget he now knows it.

Personality:
Kage is far from a cold person but it is a common start in describing his personality. Having never known true friends and family he has little memories of joy and laughter to draw on. To other this makes him seem distant and cold. But when you consider his position this is understandable. He takes his time in making decisions due to the conequences that may happen if it is wrong. He is a good judge of people as he has had to learn quick who can be trusted and not. He is very streetwise and good in cities, almost instinctively knowing how to get around and how to find things. New experiences can confuse him, especially if it is something he has never known. He takes nothing for granted, and gives thanks to Lady Luck when things go well.

Appearance:
Kage is short. Being maybe no more then 5'5'' maybe 5'7''. His skin is a dark blue, that borders on black, and very dirty and rough. Despite the colour, the dirt on his clothes and skin is still visible to others. He has a few scars on different parts of his skin from various moments in his life, the most prominent one is the gash that runs along side his spine. The skin there is still soft and lighter, the scar never quite fully healed.
He has scruffy brown hair that doesn't often get washed. It is long enough to go down to his shoulders and is commonly tangled up in itself. He has a piece of string he uses to tie it back. His right eye is a bright green that contrasts with his skin. His left eye however is completely black. Every part of the eyeball is pure black and is discomfiting to look at.
He commonly wears clothes that are too big or too small and they are often as well washed as him. Though he has a small stash of clothes most have dirt/blood/food stains on them now. The clothes are all second hand or stolen and his common attire is a rough pair of pants and a unidetifiable shirt. He does have an old jacket long enough to go his knees that he can be seen wearing. He doesn't have any shoes and years of walking barefoot have made the bottom of his feet tough.
He very much looks like a person with nothing.

History:
Kage earliest memories are of waking up gasping for pain. He remembers crawling in pain. A sharp, sharp pain lancing through his back. He crawled. He was no more then 9 years old. He crawled through blood soaked grass, not all of it his own. He does remember crying. He also remembers the dead lifeless forms littered around him. And though he doesn't remember who or what they were, he still feel their cold eyes staring at him. He still remembers collapsing in a fever and spending the next few days fading in and out of consciousness.
He wishes he could forget it.
He knows nothing about his parents or past. Were they kind? Did they love him? Who knows. He knows nothing about his family and home. He doesn't even know his own name. No one has ever claimed to recognize him and no one has wanted to know him. He found his shapeshifting powers were unstable and random. Sometimes he could hold a form, other times he couldn't. Sometimes he would change into something he never planned, struggle to change at all and even change without wanting to. Sometime he would get caught in his mid form. A black fog. Not able to feel or sense properly he was only dimmly aware of the state of the world when like that.
Worse he found that his magic caused him pain. Sharp pain would lash through his body when he attempted to cast a spell. With time it became easier to handle small spells but when he uses too much magic it would be unbearable. He would even break down, becoming fog, just to escape it. And on top of it all one of his eyes was a un-natural black. Kage became sure he was cursed but it was like nothing ever known. If not then he was merely a mistake of existance.
The years of his life through all this blur into one mess. He discovered it was hard to live with nothing. He would scavenge what he could. Stealing what he couldn't. He lived life tough on streets of cities and towns. Even amongst the other homesless and beggers he was singled out. A curse on others. He got involved in gangs. In theft. In murder. He did what he could to survive. He made mistakes. He payed dearly for them. But he learned. He got stronger.
One of the big moments in his life was when he was betrayed to some city guard. They beat him with magic, a loop hole to the cities rules of no weapons. They burned the skin on his legs. Lashed his arms with wind. Tortured him for hours with the spells they knew. Near the end something inside him snapped and he cast a spell he didn't know he even knew. Void. Robbed of their magic the guards where shocked and Kage murdered them with no hesitation, fueled only by his anger. But in so much pain Kage soon vanished into fog before reforming in a gutter somewhere near by. That night he was sure he was going to die. Yet it never happened.
Now resently Kage has heard of this Blue Drop, through the trickles of news that find there way into the cities. For the first time ever he has hope. Hope that this 'thing' can rid him of whatever it is that causes him to be what he is. That has stolen his life from him. He hopes he can learn some truth about himself. For the first time ever Kage had a purpose and an aim to his life. One he hopes he can fulfill before his own existance takes it's toll.

Personality: Einar is a level headed young man used to thinking about things in a practical fashion. While not exceptionally clever when it comes to problem solving, he has a dry wit about him that can easily be mistaken for idiocy by the unobservant. He can often come of as lackadaisical and slow because of his sedentary disposition however, that is because he rarely shows the the full vitality in his soul outside of the forge. When a hammer is placed in his hand and a vision of inspiration strikes, he moves with speed and zest that belies his normal sloth. His outward apathy can at times touch on cynicism. He does follow others well and can bristle if given commands. Dislikes staying in one place for long periods and is afflicted with a wanderlust that has kept him from settling down. He's actually more well read than his career might indicated, in fact he largely comes off more as a scholar than a smith.

Appearance: Raven-eyed and jet haired, his skin has a yellow red hue from the hours spent near the blistering heat of the forge. His hair is wild in short, with numerous split ends from the touch of flame. His shoulders a strong and knotted with muscle though his lanky build hides his strength. He's tall standing a half head taller than the average person. His clothes are a mishmash of various items he has forged but never finished.

History: Born the son of guildsmen, Einar’s life always had a path to it, a direction and a destination. From a young age he was raised to take over his fathers place in the Smith’s Guild, as a armor smith. He demonstrated great promise however, despite that his father and him constantly were at odds due Einar’s habit of running off for weeks at a time to travel through the city of his birth or visit the neighboring villages. Shortly before he was set to take over as a fulltime guildsman, he ran away from home, this time not to return. Since he was the son of one of the most important armor smiths in the Smith’s Guild he quickly found himself the target of a sizeable bounty, due to crafting secrets he held in his head. However, he has thus far remained on step ahead of the bounty hunters as he wanders the villages.
Work is not a hard thing for a craftsmen like him to find, a master not just of armorsmithing but also weapons, jewelery and even the more mundane ploughblades and axes. Further, because the Smith’s Guild holds a monopoly, they sell their goods over market value, allowing a blackmarket blacksmith to make easy money selling goods directly to the customer. His customers have ranged from simple peasants to lesser lords, but never does he stay longer than necessary to get the money and food necessary to travel to the next town.
Now he finds himself swamped with orders for trinkets, as people order charms and necklaces to combat a disease that is spreading through the region he is currently wandering through. A vague curiosity overtakes him but so far he’s content to let the disease run its course.

History: Amaryllis Grew up with only a mother. Her father had been killed, by whom no ones knows. Her mother taught her how to take care of herself in the world she lived in. But, until she was a decent listening age, she didn't really pay attention. She was always too busy playing with the different animals and creatures in the forest. Well, one day, she wandered to far into the woods. She was about eleven years old, She ran into an Orc. She screamed at the sight of it, knowing that it could have killed her, but her mother ran out, hearing her scream and risked her own life just to save Amaryllis. Losing her mother, she had no one else, so she stayed there in the forest, not knowing where to go or what to do.
Well, one day, she met a male Neko who brought her back from her depression and it was almost as if she was starting over. She had finally mourned and gotten over her mother's death when she was about 14. She ended up living with the guy who had helped her. they had bonded and became very good friends over a couple of years. Until one day.
When she was about 18, she watched him get very sick. You see, he was born with a cancer like disease that slowly killed him. She stayed there by his side, taking care of him until he finally passed on. She buried him in one of his favorite places.
Now she just lives peacefully in the house she use to so happily share with her good friend. She hunts for her food and takes good care of herself. She still plays around with animals, but is always being cautious of what could happen.

Personality: Castiel is tricky and is always trying to work an angel to get something he wants. He is friendly and would never try to trick someone he saw as a friend. He trys to stay out of fights but he always finds one and he has ways to get out of something he knows he can't win.
Appearance: Castiel has a friendly face, short black hair and baby blue eyes. His body is short about 5'3 He has an unknown name scared in to has arm(a lesson he got from failing his first con). He is strong and quick as hell.
History: Castiel lived simply with his father and made maps with him traveling a lot. His mother died giving birth to him so his father always saw castiel as his gift and tried to treat him well. With all his travels he learned the land well and how to live off of it. In the towns he has seen he tried his hand at cons sometimes making quick doller other times learning the hard way. The day came when Castiel and his father was traveling his fathers hart gave out and he died. With his father gone Castiel sticks to staying in the woods and only going to town to "earn" some money, and buy supplies and keeps on the move till he finds a good place to settle down and make the life he wants.

The eye of the gods: Rey left eye can change into an all seeing eye that grants her may handy benefits one of which in the ability to follow her enemies attacks coming at him regardless of speed allow her to react accordingly, she can see through tricks and illusions lastly it allows Rey to copy her enemies abilities and use them as her own without their side effects Rey can also use KI and sage to increase the duration of her eye. Depending on how many enemies Rey is fighting will determine how long she can sustain her left eye power for as well as taking into account if she copying her enemies abilities will also drain more power. Risk of straining her eye are increased other time and can cause her eye to be come tired and close for a brief while or temporary blindness in her left eye for an hour after using all her energy after a prolonged battle.

Life force transfer: Rey has the ability to take another person life forces to heal herself she can also give her own life forces to others to heal them even bring back the dead she may even use a three way life force and act as a median to transfer it another living person life force to the dead to bring them back. This ability takes time and the user must remain in physical contact with the target to make it work.

7. Anesthetic: At a single touch Rey can release a power anesthetic throw her targets body to prevent them from escaping her grasp. This ability requires a skin to skin contact to work and it takes a few moments to take event.
