Fate/Zero to be animated.

Ufotable has confirmed that it will be animating Urobuchi Gen's novel Fate/Zero, a prequel to TYPE-MOON's hyper-popular visual-novel Fate/Stay Night. The story takes place 10 years prior to the original, focusing on the 4th Holy Grail War, and particularly the story of Kitsurugu Emiya and Saber.

The story is known for being much more action-packed than the original, and featuring a rather unique cast of historic characters.

This comes not too long after the animated film based on the Unlimited Blade Works path of the Fate/Stay Night visual novel was released.
