Where can I get an English dub copy of Xenosaga The Animation?

The only torrent seems to be a VERY horribly done one. They took the time to rip a dubbed (dual audio actually, both Japanese and English audio available, switchable in VLC player) copy of it, only to then HARDSUB it! If they were gonna rip the subs too (or make fansubs), it should have been a "soft sub" so people using VLC player could turn off the subs when the audio was set to English.

So it seems that so far the ONLY rip of the English dub DVD is the one made by DUMB people who had to HARDSUB IT!!!!! Now I'm wondering if ANY of you guys here are aware of an English DUB copy without any subs, or at least using SOFT subs. If you are aware of such a torrent then please post the link here.

I can't buy it. My parents think anime is dumb and immature, for little kids just like American cartoons. I'd be in trouble if they knew I bought it. I can't afford to let my parents find out. Torrents are the only way. I have only bought 2 anime videos EVER in my life. I had to quickly hide the tapes (yes these animes are old enough I can't get a DVD of them) in my closet to keep my parents from finding out. However I've watched DOZENS of animes without my parents finding out. Guess where I got them. Three words, "The Pirate Bay". Nuff said. I only torrent because of my parents ban on anime. Unfortunately I now have probably well over $2000 worth of anime downloads. To legitimize these by buying them, I'd go into dept

Well if you get an itunes gift card you can always spend it on anime ^_^. There's actually some really good stuff on there, even though the selection is a bit limited. And there are other options too, like FUNimation (although this requires a credit card), they have a bunch of stuff for digital download. Then there's always crunchyroll, which you can pay via money order.

Crunchyroll and Funimation are both ILLEGALLY selling pirate copies. Neither site operates legally.

Crunchyroll is legal now...think of it like Napster. They started off letting people download mp3s for free but now they're operating legitimately.

Crunchyroll is a licensed streaming site; every anime season they are allowed to simulcast a few new series with the Japanese releases. They've been operating legally since 2007, and are the first major innovator in anime distribution online, within the industry.

Funimation is a completely, 100% legal licensing company, just like Viz, ADV Films, Bandai, etc. They agree to a licensing contract with the Japanese copyright holders (the production company), after which point they perform the necessary translation and editting and dubbing, and then distribute it to an english-speaking market. Where did you get the idea that they functioned illegally? They're the biggest legal distributor in the West.
