Darksiders - does it anger you that its a Zelda: Ocarina of time rip off?

I mean I love that about Darksiders cause I sit there and go "naw just like that time in zelda...blah blah" but other people think that makes Darksiders unoriginal and annoying. What are your thoughts?

I see like...nothing similar between Darksiders and OoT or any Zelda for that matter. Apart from the gimmicks of being a platformer, I'm not seeing it. The plot is completely different for one, and the combat is more Devil May Cry-ish. Also the fact that they both have horses...but who wouldn't want a horse? Especially a flaming one named Ruin.

Darksiders weapons are a parallel version of Zelda weapons.

Tremor Gauntlet - you know those gloves Link wears...sorry its been some time since i last played :P

Earthcaller - Ocarina although really this earthcaller thing doesn't do much


Although I agree that a flaming horse is awesome!!

oh and i swear darksiders has a hook that shoots out of something War holds but I can't for the life of me remember the name. But yeah Zelda did it first :P

A lot of games have parallels. That's not necessarily because the game was a "rip off" of another game though just because of some similar qualities though.
