It depends on the person and on the situation. Some people deserve second chances, some people don't. Some situations can be fixed, some situations cannot. It all depends.

But usually, if it doesn't work the first time, it's best to assume that it won't work the second time unless there's evidence that shows otherwise.

For me, it's not the question of whether I give someone else a second chance.. it's whether I allow myself to take another chance of possibly getting hurt again.
And in that instance I have to ask how much I want it..

it's simple like this. Yes we can forgive. yes maybe you where on a near death experience and you see how blessed your life is and you deeply change(yes People do freaking change or simply mature) and become a better person. it happens and it's true.
