The list was originally for PS4 vs Xbox one, that's why Xbox 360 and PS3 weren't included. However, PC Elitist decided to add that list just to be assholes and to brag they got more games.

Funny enough, a lot of them won't play half of them.

I'd say most wont play an eighth of them.

I was just thinking the other day: Why do I unconditionally take requests in adventure games that I'd otherwise avoid in real life?

Irl, if a person asked me to gather 7 dispersed cuckoos in exchange for an empty bottle, I'd probably tell them to stick that bottle where the sun don't shine; whereas in a videogame, if an NPC asked me to gather 7 dispersed cuckoos in exchange for an empty bottle, I'd be only too happy to oblige at any cost.

I can think of a few older games.

There's Oni, I guess. But that's mostly 3rd person.

There's also SHOGO: Mobile Armor Division, which is mostly mecha combat, but also has some regular FPS elements.

Shogo MAD is a fun little game. I much prefer the on foot segments though because they are much harder since it has a critical hit mechanic meaning you can be killed with one shot to any part of your body if the enemy scores a critical. The mecha segments tend to be slow and clunky and the maps are small. It's flawed so I can't call it a masterpiece but it is a gem if you like late 1990's pc shooters. Oni is a pretty mediocre game and it has aged very badly on top of that.

I loved the hell out of Oni back when it was new. Though I don't think either game aged particularly well.

Yeah I know that feel. Some games age like fine wines. (I'm paraphrasing System Shock 2 like a nerd tard)
Anyway some games age real nice. Deus Ex aged awesomely,and AVP2 aged decently well. There are probably other examples but I'm
cherrypicking from that time period. I remember playing Oni back then on the pc gamer discs me and my sister where...are big time nerds
so pc demos where like the holy grail, I played a lot of games from that time with my sister. Awesome times.

Hah, well, the picture does communicate how many people feel about Hideo Kojima's departure from Konami. I would be interested in hearing from some dedicated Konami fans on this subject. I wonder if things will go relatively unchanged (at least to the eyes of the consumer), as they did when Mark Kern left Red 5 Studios?
