Synopsis:

"There isn't really one, just that it's season 2, but here is the first season's synopsis:

In a world where science clarifies supernatural powers. In a huge college that has power development in its curriculum. To a resident high school student, Kamijou Touma, a pure white sister appears. She calls herself "Index" and says that sorcerers are chasing her. Thus, Kamijou Touma enters the world of the occult.
Kamijou Touma is a student living in Academy City, a highly advanced place in terms of technology. Despite being gauged as a level zero esper (no powers), he possesses on his right hand the Imagine Breaker, an ability that negates any power whatsoever. Touma finds a young girl named Index who is trying to run away from Necessarius, a powerful magic organization that she is member of. Blessed with the skill of memorizing any sort of information, she holds 103,000 forbidden magical books within her head. As science and magic cross paths, Touma must face several dangers amid espers and magicians who appear at the exciting scientific town."

The second season of these pretty awesome novels have finally started. Continuing from the first season (not the spin off railgun) I think it's had a...hmm...alright start, but the ending of the first episode has led me wondering what's gonna happen next.

Since the timeline in this series is:
Railgun - Index - Index II it`s ofc not a continuation on Railgun :P (before anyone argues with me on this: Biribiri & Touma doesn`t know each other in the start of Railgun they get to know each other halfway, they know each other from the start of Index)
Index II starts abit earlier then were the last ep of Index ended, before the whole homework thing, which is abit bad.
But the episode was great
I had just finished s1 last week, so I was pretty happy that I could start on s2 almost right away XD

I loved the first episode of Index II, I've been waiting for it ever since I'd heard of it!! I watched through the 1st season in mid-2009, and through Railgun in late-2009. I'm hyped for the Railgun OVA, as well! ..and hopefully a Railgun sequel next October (if they follow the October releases)

The new OP is, as expected of Kawada Mami, amazing!! xD I love the ED, too. T'was nice to see Misaka in it too. ^^

Yeah I just watched ep 4 myself and seriously, stabbing themselves with pens?! What's worse is that the leader of that pack didn't do it >;o

In S1 Toama lost his arm and a doctor reattached that, so fixing some eardrums is probably not a big deal in that world :P

Yeah I can understand re-attaching an arm though but stabbing yourself with pens, I mean why not use earplugs instead?
