Who can you really trust?

I only TRULY trust 3 people so far with the major things. And those three have been with me through thick and thin. However I'm a pretty open person and people automatically get my trust until they do something that makes them lose it.

I trust my husband, and my family (for the most part). There are several friends I have that I trust quite a bit, as well.

For me personally, I said nobody is worth trusting, not that I don't trust anybody. Unfortunately I can't get away from trusting people in the end. It's a huge problem, and I know it's stupid, but I do it anyway. >_>

Trust is a two way street, honesty and lies.

You're trusted, and their trust is honesty, but for you, you're lying to them. That's the road that has the most damage and hurts the most.
Going the other way, it can be a great thing, having many problems that you can trust someone to hold with you.

However, when you trusted some one and they somehow broke it, it's impossible to forgive. And to give back what they lost.

It may take time, but I think everybody can find people who are worthy of their trust.

Not everybody is the same. There's good and bad. Just because some people have experienced the bad, doesn't mean there isn't any good.

People can be trusted, it just depends on what you want to trust them with. You don't have to trust them with everything, just certain things you're comfortable sharing with others.

i would trust no one, except those i see that are very special to me such as a best friend thats been with me through everything, if not them then only trust your heart

@Bassoonist: That is just so true, everyone i know has done somthing to betray my trust so i'm just giving up trying to find someone trustworthy and i've probably done the same to someone else. Like you said it's just human nature and i agree 100% with that.

Theres two kinds of trust in my book: trust for honesty and trust for loyalty.

If someone lies to me for a small thing, I don't make a big deal out of it because I lied a couple of times. Everyone at one point made a lie, and why make a big deal if someone made a lie to you, you should not trust them ever again? ;/ Its really dumb. Stuff like that, I get over it.

With loyalty, I kind of take it seriously because I'm the kind of person that will not betray someone. Its like respect; I respect you, please respect me. Depending on the situation, I give chances and I forgive quite easily.

Trust is not so much of a big issue with me. Why? I just don't encounter problems that involves with it. I don't listen to people that says "trust no one", I can't live like that. And how on earth do people live like that? Now what do I think about that: lame.
It's no excuse at all, but people can do what they want. I still think its pathetic to bear in mind to not trust anyone. Doesn't make you tough or anything.
