Even in an actual discussion thread there would be no replies if people didn't read previous posts; thus there would be no discussion, and/or arguments. I tend to read the first post, and the last page to see what it's about (or the entire first page if that's all the thread is). If I have time to kill it's between gaming and reading posts... tough call.

I will skim other responses if there is a valid reason to do so. In this case, there is no reason to read every other post, so I read some from the first page and some from this page, as others have done.
