Watch anime alone or with other people?

Simple question for y'all. Do you prefer to watch alone or with other fans/random people.

I actually prefer to watch with other people (I watched an episode of samurai champloo with my sister and some dragonballz with some of my friends). Though I don't mind viewing the animes all by meself.

I usually watch anime all by myself since my bro doesn't like the romance comedy, but there are times we watch shounen together. And my sister is slowly getting into anime but only if its dubbed.

I prefer to watch it by myself though because that way I can speed rush through the series.

I like to watch my anime alone, other people tend to be a distraction. I tired watching anime with friends but they either ask too many questions or complain they want to watch a dub. I don't mind answering questions but not in the middle of the episode. Besides I watch anime to relax so I kind of consider it my me time.

I wouldn't mind watching anime with others but noone around here is very interested in it. Sometimes I can get my nephew to watch Gintama with me.

I usually watch anime on my own. But I used to watch Sailor Moon with my brother when we were young when we didn't know what Sailor Moon was about.

I like watching most anime with other people like Dragon Ball Z or Yu Yu Hakusho, but somethings either no one cares about or people hear the title and don't want to watch it like Pani Poni Dash or Azumanga Daioh.

It depends. If the person talks a lot and won't shut up I'd rather watch alone.

Well, for a start I don't have any brothers or sisters so that doesn't make it very easy to what anime with other people. x3 Um, but really when I am with my friends I like to do more active stuff or acctualy doing something, not just sitting and watching something. Also I don't know if we like the same animes. XD

Marius2000: Yeah sometimes I watch alone just to relax. And by sometimes I mean about once or twice a week.

Mrmojorisin74: I live in a city where the local convention (usually held in Rosemont) is the only place I can find people that know anime.

Lightbuster: I use to watch with my younger brother too.. but he is no longer watching anime....

Kaitou Kid: Thats cool. Benefits when watching alone is that you can follow the story better. No distractions and such.

Usually for me it's alone. Sometimes my dad would join me, but he's pretty much the reason why i got into comics so it's not weird at all. Although it was odd that my mom sat down and watched Afro Samurai and Cowboy Bebop The Movie with me.

Sadly, I watch anime alone most of the time since my parents make fun of it and my sister's too young to understand what's going on. But when I have a friend to watch it with, it suddenly makes the whole thing better.

But when you're alone, you can do all the silly things you want while watching the show. :3

I normally watch it alone. Sometimes my younger brother comes in when I'm watching something like Gundam or Devilman, though.

I prefer alone so I can come with comments during the show that would probably annoy anyone watching with me (like yelling "His power level is OVER 9000!!!!") or totally adore a cute girl and talk about how cute and totally sexy she is worth shipping the ground she walks on for the rest of the episode, which would probably also annoy others watching in the long run.

Alone...By myself, in the dark, with all the doors locked and blinds closed, and some snacks. Unless you count a dog as a person because it usually sleeps in the same room as me whenever I watch an anime.

Usually alone but sometimes i watch it with the only other guy i know that likes anime, we watch series that the other person enjoys, that way we can introduce each other to different genres and series as we both have very different tastes in anime.
