Regarding Sunflowers

Are they hard to pull out of the ground? I've seen one and attempted to pull one out once, but I don't remember what happened after I tried to pull one out. :/

They seem hard to pull out, since they look very sturdy and such. I just need a verification if it's true, and I don't have any sunflowers around my area, so I can't find out if it's true or not.

So has anyone tried to pull out a sunflower?

Why would you even consider pulling up a Sunflower? They're such beautiful plants, and contribute to the local bird-life.
But to answer your question: it depends on the sunflower.

I actually did try to do that once, but I never noticed how hard it was to pull it. Now I wonder if it was or not.

Anyway it depends what you're using to pull it out of the ground with. If you're using a jcb it should be pretty easy but using a spoon would be more difficult.
