But make sure to use thick rubber gloves (I don't remember if they're supposed to be nitrile or not, but it eats right through one of them, so make sure you get the right one). Otherwise you can get a nasty rash on your hands.

That's a very good question. I myself found out on my own, and a lot of people I know just stumbled through their first time doing it not even knowing what was going on.
