Arrows: 選択 Choose
X: 決定 Select
O: 戻る Return


Third screen:

Options:
つづきからはじめる Continue
あたらしくはじまる New Game
きろくをけす Erase Record
たいけんばん(そ?)な(き?)つぐ Demo Version ??????? *

Keys:
Arrows, X and O: Same as above
Triangle: セーブ Save
Square: きろくをけす Erase Record

I think the last one says: たいけんばんをひきつぐ

Something like "Take over Demo Version". Maybe its talking about bringing save data from the demo version?
