Right, i am going to be creating a tutorial over the next few days covering all of the basics and requirements in signatures;
such as text, composition, depth, flow, lighting etc. if you would like to help by writing say, a paragraph or so on one or more of these items (needs to be clear, and precise, with examples [images!!]) post here, and state what section you want to do, and i will pm you the items i need to be detailed in said section.

if i say yes, write it up, and if it needs some slight tweaking, i hope you dont mind!! i will list you in the credits at the end, so never fear =)

So yea.. this may be a 2, even 3 part tutorial as it will be quite large detailing everything.
all points will need their basis on photoshop, im not covering any other program.

I honestly will be needing help with this, there are people out there who can detail the colour theory (for e.g.) better then i can.

Never got copy right, aren't 90% of the anime extraction used in the sigs you find copy righted images that where ripped from something else?

everything is copyrighted, but more often then not, you can use others' work for non commericial use. e.g. a really good site is deviant art, it clearly states why type of copyright the owner of the work chose.

its allright, it can be hard for some people to get copyright, especially as it gets violated millions of times a day on the internet. anyhow, anyone able to help me with this ?

I don't know enough to help out but how do you wright a paragraph for saving? Unless I pad it I could do that in two sentences. One, if I get creative with grammar.

basically once someone wants to do a section i PM them the details i need in it. e.g. for saving i'd need an explanation of why to save as png (such as no loss of quality) and how its done.
(think of it as though the person has only saved as jpegs)
and also id need a jpeg and a png of the same image, showing the difference in the quality.

well, i wont mind you using my end results if you want, but your magazine is a lot more in depth =)
i might do something like that in a couple years hehe, as it is, im just covering all the basics here =P

oh, and this overall tutorial is also part of my minor yr 11 ipt project ^.^
im thinking on doing a tutorial + resource website for yr12 DT project, if your guides done by then serated, you reckon i can at least reference to it?

My thing is so far 8 pages long on a MS word document. I am currently in the process of collecting resources to construct basic signature designs to Illustrate important points in it. but your thin appears to be anything but general, what you are doing is essentially the same as what I am doing. I would recommend that if you have a constraint for time and/or have never done this before, you make a tutorial for each individual topic rather than something collectively massive.

Iie, serated-sempai; i am after a short, 1, at most 2 paragraph + picture explanation for each point, this is for begginers to understand each point, not a detailed guide.
in yr 12, i may make a full blown, detailed guide and explanation similar to you, which hopefully i can get your help with; but for now, these are only short explanations for the begginer.

although...it is tempting (im well ahead of class in IPT) to make this full blown...

anyhow, could someone tell me if a guide to everything on photoshop, photomanip, rendering, signatures, wallpapers etc etc, would be a good idea for yr 12 major design project?
