Micheal Gracey is a new director so the movie can be interesting.

Is this going to be live-action, like The Last Airbender?
Whether it is or not, I'm in!!
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
Wonder who's gonna' play Naruto himself?

I'll keep an eye on it, but I'm not expecting anything mind-blowing.
As long as they don't mispronounce the main characters' names (I'm looking at you, Last Airbender), then I'll give it a shot. I wonder if we'll get to see Orochimaru in live action; holy Christ that would be terrifying.
I personally do not see this actually happening.
They have said similar things in the past about Neon Genesis Evangelion and Death Note. Nothing has come from that news so I don't think that anything will come from this venture. I think it is just another reason to get people talking.
That's wonderful... But then we do have Dragonball evolution.
It will flop like every other Live action movie based on Anime or like anime.

@1nterest1ng : You really think a CG movie of Naruto wouldn't flop? I'm not a fan of CG cartoons, so maybe you're right. NRTO is pretty popular, though; for that reason, I think the theaters would be packed. Again, I'm no CG fan, but a movie like that would have potential.

Of course a CG movie would not flop. Think about it Toy Story, Inside Out, Big Hero 6, Kung Fu Panda all were great success's and they were CG animated. I mean if Disney just extended their reach again with Anime series and license them to Pixar they would be under a cash cow that would never end.
Regardless of your own points of view, you have to look at the money that has been made of the series and the fact that it has created a 3rd movie. I mean if they did do something like that then the medium age of watching an "animated" film would be right in the respect of the age needed, and again that is a cash cow.
Oh. lol
