And I also like names like ::Paprika:: where it is a simple name reference I get and the symbols around the name are also simplistic and decorative. Once there's more than five grammatical symbols on either side of a name it usually loses the appeal for me.

There's a few that I like, the ones that lay themselves out as originality. Verbs and the like. But I think this thread would be a lot better if a lot of people weren't posting Admin names simply for the brownie points [that you'll never get, because they don't care].

@ Erised and Kristen: You assume too much. It's not like that misconception didn't occur to me before posting names. Yet the only thing that gave me hesitation was that users could misinterpret that they are liked more or less based on listing or omitting their user names, which just isn't true.

I generally like names that refer to characters I like, like chocobos or Chii, which is why I like the names of LordShinigami, Chiichanny and ::Paprika::, among others.
I do, however, feel like making a list would inevitably lead me to favor my friends and not actually list names I like whether or not I know the person.

Erised, is not sucking up to anyone. If you say the names aloud, there is an obviously clear difference. Unless, Eris pronounces his username in some sort of different way, which I honestly wouldn't be surprised by at all.
