RPG: All Fours Academy

Kyo sat in his desk seat with his legs pulled up to his chest and spun in the seat, seeming more like a child than an adult, then he made a sudden stop when he faced the huge window facing the entrance of the school, he witnessed the wide area of green grass and the not so green dark forest, "hm...even in the day light barely gets through there..." Kyo yawned, "well...so it begins" Kyo st in his chair waiting to witness the students' arival.

[Keisai]

Location: Campus gate.

Ryu walked through the entrance with what he had. He looked around a bit seeing some of the new people showing up." Well first time i've been to a public place." He said to him self. He looked at the room number on his card."106 huh? well let's see my new room." he started walking toward the dorm section of the school.

[Luzifer]

Location Campus Gate -> Campus Proper

Serph floated onto campus with an airy amble. He didn't stand out, his awkward scarecrow limbs his only distinguishing feature. His eyes glossed lazily across the glistening graze and his feet followed suit. A daydream latter and he was sitting on a random guard rail reading a small nondescript book.

He looked up vaguely, seemingly lost in a dull thoughtless stupor. Then he flinched, seeing a loathsome object visible only to him and then returned to his book as if nothing had happened. There was probably somewhere he ought to be but the thought did not appear to bother him as he lazy with his trash book and impenetrable thoughtlessness.

Location: Main office-second floor

Kyo sat up from his chair as he saw the students enter through the gate, "I guess I should go greet them now", he started toward the door and found the stairs leading down, he length of the stairs didn't seem to bother him, the Academy had 7 floors including the other neighboring buildings. Kyo was already at the front door, he took in a deep breath and pused them open to witness all of the students socializing and examining the school, he pulled out a, "well hello new students of Kanna Academy!" at the same time Kyo thought in his head a.k.a. All Fours.

Location: Main Gate, yard.

With the greatest cliche air about him, Dykyo sat high up in a tree in the courtyard, his military booted feet hanging from strong legs, attached to a well built torso. The black denim of his jeans pronounced his presence in the tree just as much as his silver and black schemed leather jacket covering a black tank-top, along with a tattoo he received back in China from the Monks before he left for the school.

His eyes, with their gray irises focused at knife points of pupils, he'd scan the yard for any trouble that may arise with the coming of the new school year. This would be the last year he could watch over the others around the school, the last year he could help keep the peace in the halls when the teachers couldn't see what was going on. He hoped there would be someone else to take up the torch, so to say- but in any event he was thinking too much.

When the Principle of the school called out to the students, he'd listen intently, mindfully allowing himself to climb down from the tree and land with a thump to the group, at his feet. After this he approached.

"So this is Kanna Academy" thought Giacomo as he looked around his new environment, eyeing the other new students with distrust he slowly wandered towards the croud that seemed to have gathered around the front steps. He could feel the eyes of some of the students resting on the scars on his arms and face and he knew that they were wondering about how they had got there. He in turn Picked out interesting members of the crowd, a tall boy with white hair, a gracefull, pale boy and a huge boy in a leather jacket. Deciding to avoid the leather jacketed boy he snuck throug the crowd to the front where the Principle seemd to be making some sort of speach.

It seemed that most of the students began to listen in on what Kyo had to say so he began, "Ok I won't be long I just need to make sure everyone is clear on some simple rules as to attending this academy" Kyo began pacing back and forth on the steps, then suddenly stuck a finger out, "number one! Respect your classmates and your teachers" he held up two fingers now, "number two!, Stay in your dorms when it comes time to go to sleep!", he held up three fingers, "number three!, Lock your doors at night!", now Kyo stopped in the center of the steps and spoke in a more ominous voice, "and...number four...stay out of the woods" Kyo stared into the crowd watching him, "that will be all, your teachers should fill you in on other rules and expectations once you take your first class but for now, get your selfs set up into your dorms" Kyo smiled and went back into the school.

Location: Main Gate, Archway


Fauntine watched as the Headmaster told his speech. She didnt get scared but simply groaned. Her friends looked at her weird as she stood up and touched the archway with her hand. Fauntine looked at her friends and smiled. "Ze headmaster sounds kind of strict, no?" She asked smiling. "I grew up near ze French Alps. I will go into ze forest when I please." She whispered to herself.

"Hey Fauntine, what's Paris like?!" One of her friends asked as others squealed excited to find out. "Well, Paris is..um..interesting." She said, awkwardly. She walked through the archway towards the dormitories, her dress bouncing as she walked. Her group of friends followed as she moved foward, asking her questions about France. "Look, I don't want to answer questions about France, right now." Her friends deserted her and she was left alone. She sighed and walked on ahead. She untied her curly pigtails, letting her hair fall. "Well, zis day could not get any better."

Moving from Main Gate, yard - 1400 Dorms.

After filing through crowds of students, noticing as many faces as possible, he ended his expedition at the base of the steps, just as the Kyo finished his speech. The rules were simple, and Dykyo was fine with them entirely. But an ominous feeling came over him as he thought about the new students, and the possible pranks and other shenanigans that are apt to occur over the next school year, and seeing as the forest is forbidden, the numerous first-years he'd have to save from senior bullies' tendency to use peer pressure.

Alas, it was dorm time, and his bag was full to the brink. He had went back to the tree to lift his large 'handy-sack' as it were, nearly two-thirds his size, and hauled it off towards the 1400's dormitory. There weren't many people who lived in that particular section, he knew of two other students that lived in the rooms nearest to him- but his thoughts would waver as he approached the dorm, when he would receive the evil eye from some of the bullies he fended off of freshman from last year.

It was rest assured that vengeance was on the menu, best served cold, with a side of domination and humiliation. They would try, he knew it... It wasn't paranoia as much as general fact. They felt a safety in numbers, but no matter the numbers there was one thing they couldn't predict, and that was his other form. Dykyo was even afraid of his other form, to a degree, as it was so large and powerful- it was hard to imagine any one else harboring a similarly massive form. The worse part was (Quantitatively) he felt he was still growing.

Eventually he made it to his room, good 'ol 1406. He wondered if he'd have a roommate this year, as there was plenty of space in his room for another person. Perhaps his ambiance was a bit to big for another to cope with, but such vain thoughts were too far below him. Dykyo decided to let what was, be, and to not question it.

Unpacking his things, he left his door open, to air the room out. additionally he left the window open to aid in this endeavor.

Area: Moving from Main Gate, yard - 1400 Dorms.

Fauntine reached her dorm with her things in a large trunk. She walked passed 1406 and saw the door was open. "Hey..um..Di-key-oh? Did I pronounce zat right?" She asked, smiling. She had seen him around before, going to class and such. She set her trunk in her room and walked into his. "I do not think we have gotten acquainted yet. Je m'appelle Fauntine. I am from Paris, France." She said holding out her hand to shake his.

Location: 1406, Dykyo's room.

A pleasant surprise, as it would be, brought a gentle smile to his face after storing various things in his closet. The female introduced herself as Fauntine, and mindfully Daykyosuke brought forth his nylon finger-tipped gloved hand (his father had taught him about western greetings) into hers, shaking her hand firmly enough to show he was conscious and paying attention to her. After the handshake he backed up some and bowed gently.

"Die-key-oh, but you were close Miss Fauntine... I hope I'm not messing your name up either." His words were clear and full, faltering only on his pronouncing of her name. "Though it's finally nice to put a voice to a face, and those to a more distinct name. You have been here two years, yes?"

While he spoke he adjusted his gloves on his hands, these gloves seemed quite worn out, albeit clean.

Location: 1406, Dykyo's room.

Fauntine laughed and noticed his gloves. "Well it was a good try! Why do you wear ze gloves? Zey are worn, no?" She asked grabbing his hand and checking the gloves. "Wait, I have only been here six months...it seems zat it has been a long time..." She said looking out the window. "I wish zat we could go into ze forest. It reminds me of ze French Alps." Her sentance trailed and then she turned back at Dyankyo. "So, what classes do you take?"

Location: Moving to 1400's dormitory

Ryu sighed as one of the students gave him a new form. He looked over it carefully. It said. " New room 1409" "Great. I wonder what is wrong with my room." He sighed as he passed two talking to each other, he only caught the last part of the conversation. He didn't really care, He didn't trust any one after what his family told him. But he didn't care that he was part animal, wither it be a genetic anomaly or what he didn't mind it. he wanted to set his stuff down.

location: moving to 1400's dormitory

Giacomo looked up at the board that listed the dorm rooms and who was assigned to each one. To his surprise he noticed that his had been changed "1401 it read", "funny" he thought "i wonder why it was changed". He had not really payed much attention to the principles welcoming speach though when The Woods were mentioned he thought he might go have a look to see why they were forbidden. Heaving his bag up over his shoulders he wandered off to try and find his room and ditch his stuff.

Location: Campus

Serph spent some more time reading not in any particular rush to get settled or meet anyone. He already knew where his dorm room was but he figured everyone would be going to their dorm rooms so he decided to until it was less crowded. "Stop talking to me..." he murmured to himself, "I know... its fine... i'll get it done."

[Valkarma]

Location: Edge of woods, Cabin

The light had already squeezed its' way through the dusty curtains of the window. It illuminated the room and pulled dark shadows up the wall. Sitting at the edge of his bed Xeesar was hunched over his bag carefully loading things into it. Time was moving on and he could aready guess that new students would be pouring in. Rushing about to get to their dorms. Seeing old friends. Making new ones.

The Principle had proberly already made his speech on the simple rules of this place. He paused as he stacked a notebook carefully on top of the others. There should be more rules within this school. As it was there were unwritten ones, but not enough to keep everyone in line. The school needed proper structure. It would hold together stronger that way. With a heavy sigh he finished packing his things and stood up. Walking over to the sink he washed his face carefull making sure to to waste any water. Old habits died hard as they said. He then poured the remaining water into the flower pots by the door. With that done he collected his bag, slung it over his shoulder and stepped out of his cabin.

He didn't have to duck like with the school doors but he did slightly in instinct. He gave one look towards the woods to the side of his cabin. They were ominously still today, maybe it was just with it being morning. He looked deeper at them, seeing past the trees and far until the light was blotted out by the branches and he could see no more. He paused only a moment longer before walking off. He would still have classes on first day and attendance was important.

location: room 1401

Giacomo looked around his room without interest, taking in the basic amenities. His eyes passed over the window, noticing that he had an exellent view out across the grounds towards the forest. Instictively he walked across to open the window to allow him to come and go when in bird form.

deciding that he might as well go and introduce himself to the neibours he walked off down the corridor in the dierection of voices coming from room 1406. He paused at the open door and then walked in. he noticed a boy and a girl already there, both looked foringn. With a start he recognised one of them as the leather jacketed boy he had seen when he first arrived, deciding that it would be sensible to introduce himself he offered a scarred hand and said "Hey, I'm Giacomo Dell' Aria, pleased to meet you."

[Tetsanosuke]

"Ahh, the alps? I used to live in the mountains in China, a long while ago. I suppose we both can appreciate the natural ambiance of such places..."

Dykyosuke paused for a moment after, to think about his classes, before responding; "Classes? Well for one I am taking philosophy; third level, and sociology, second level. Mathmatics is also tooled in there somewhere, I can't remember which sort exactly--"

He stopped when another student found his way into the room and introduced himself as Giacomo, and with a small chuckle he'd extend his hand as well and shake firmly, similar to the shake gave Fauntine. After retracting his hand he'd bow gently, composed now with his usual air of respect.

"I am Dykyosuke Sho Mikegeki, most call me Dykyo." He pronounced his name slightly slow to get the pronunciation across. The distinct feeling of being nineteen years old came over him, and he wondered how old the others were- and whether or not they were fellow seniors. This was not for some feeling of supremacy, more like an innocent curiosity.

Though after introducing himself he scooted away slightly to allow Fauntine a chance to get back in the picture.

[Lady_Baneheart_Of_Blades]

Rikahi stomped her hooves, and turned around she saw a raven flying toward the trees. "Oh no your not!" She dashed off kicking up dust and then just as she was about to jump she kicked at a near by tree and a Harpy flew out. "Run Raven Child! The harpy will kill you!" quickly Rikahi pulled out her arrows and bow, streching and running toward the creature flying toward the Ravenfour. She shot at its wing and the thing changed course, landing deep within the woods.

Paige sniffed, this class was all running out on her. "Break time I guess. Run off Fours... I mean students. I have to do something first." Paige walked out the class and walked outside only to see Rikahi shooting at a Harpy. Walking past the english class windows she followed what looked to be a Raven.

Rikahi bowed towards Paige, "Archer the thing was going to kill the student..."

"I don't think he knows the danger, something tells me he's got a problem of his own going on. Get the school nurse, this kid is going to get hurt."

Giacomo never expected the harpy to come at him but he knew full well that there was something in the woods and he wanted to find out what. If anything went wrong then he would simply fly high and fast to avoid it. He knew that the woods were dangerous but he decised that the risk would be worth it and besides if it did come down to a fight he had confidence that his agility and speed would enable him to win.

landing on the forest floor he took in his surroundings, with the practiced eye of a scavenger he saw the bones that littered the ground, some were of small animals but here and there there were bones of larger animals. A second harpy dived down towards him and he flew at an upward angle usung his beak to tear a deep scar across its face. inwardly laughing at the thought that he should have been in class at that moment be circled round and the harpy followed. Witha savage screech he dropped , his whole body turned into a sharp beaked bullet that tore into the harpy which fell to the floor with a crash. It rose its head to try and get up but with a flash of sharp beak it was over.

Giacomo rose from the forest floor and headed back over the conopy in the dierection of the school, his curiosity satified. For now.

Time: Morning 9:30 am period 1

Rikahi Waved goodbye to the teacher as she saw Paige going back to class. Rikahi knew well that the Raven had just killed something, tonight the creature of the forest will feast on the two creatures. She knew well there was something stronger in there, werewolves, probably, or something bigger. Rikahi rushed into the woods and saw a dead harpy. It was only protecting its eggs. Rikahi took the bird and threw it over her shoulder and quickly rushed away. She entered dorm room one. She searched round in the creature's stomach only to find a mirror piece in it's stomach. This creature was going to die. She quickly threw the creature out her window and looked at the mirror piece and laughed saying, "Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" It was funny the mirror actaully showed her in her human form, the thing we most wanted to be. She put a rope through the broken shard and hung it around her neck. She moved over to the school rooms and knocked on the school room only to call paige out, Rikahi was hiding her centuar body behind the wall of the class, and said , "I have to show you something..."

Area Main office

Paige knocked on the door holding the mirror piece on a rope... Rikahi was standing next to her.

sighed as he saw kids leaving for break." break time i guess." he sighed and walked out side and sat on the campus wall. it was a nice day. he didn't mind it being alone." Such a nice day." he said out loud. looking around seeing so many people walking around.

Clouds of birds had risen from the trees around the two combatants and Giacomo flew through the crowd of other birds as he made his way to the edge of the forest. He knew that he would be in trouble but he didn't care, he now knew thet whatever it was in the forest that came out at night he doubted that he would be able to beat it. In hindsite he had been lucky, if there was more than one of the harpies he might have been killed and if it hadn't been for the an arrow shot from the ground he definately wouldn't have survived. He had noticed the unusual numbers of his fellow ravens in the forest who had told him that apart from the harpies there wern't many threats to the birds. Giacomo then circled high above the treetops before he saw a boy running towards the forest, deciding to warn him away he dived down towards him.

Fauntine smiled and nodded. "Yes zis is my class. I did not know that zey made books about surviving zombies." She said, pointing to two seats in the back of the classroom. "I must say Die-key-oh, I think I said it right, I actually enjoy spending time with you. You do not storm me with questions about France." She smiled and opened her text books. "All in French just like I asked." She said to herself, saving the seat to her right for Dykyo.

Kyo returned the smile to Danny, "well I guess that much is true, just dont make it a habit!" Kyo smiled and turned away leaving the window open, it felt good to have fresh air inside,suddenly someone knocked at his door, "Come in!" Kyo shouted towards the door while sitting in his spinny chair with his legs pulled to his chest, and spun around.

Area: near woods

Takai knew he felt someone following him but he ignored it he had to find that student, until his search was over a Raven dived towards him, Takai stood still, "thats right he must think I'm one of those troubling students that sneak off into the woods, Takai Waved at the Raven, "it's ok I'm not making any trouble!", suddenly Takai's attention was drawn away from him and back into the forest..."theyre watching..." Takai whispered to himself, he turned up into the sky and shouted to the Raven, "we have to go!quickly back to the school!", Takai sped off.
