I haven't watched either, but from seeing the recent Star Trek movie I'll just say Star Trek. :| Though Star Wars has a beautiful soundtrack.
lol, thats why i put the spaceballs option, i knew some ppl would vote for it lol.
Star Trek hands down, especially Next Generation.
Good and Evil have never been this cute
Star Trek, except the reboot movie, which I really don't even consider to be Star Trek.
You need a reason? Here's a reason: The Star Trek universe doesn't have Jar Jar Binks in it.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Eh, if you consider Jar Jar Binks then consider Episodes I-III the same as the Star Trek Reboot movies.
That's not quite the same though. The Star Trek reboot is in a parallel universe to original Star Trek, allowing for the stupid reboot to piss all over the original franchise without messing with it's canon.
Episodes I-III is in the same universe as the rest of Star Wars, so the Star Wars canon will be forever tainted.

Gah, I hate the space time continuum.
**************** the star trek reboot is better than any other star trek movie....honestly, i liked the shows more than the movies.
Oh yeah...? Well I like Stargate. :P I love Starwars but I would have loved it more if they would have kept puppet yoda in episodes I-III. Low tech Starwars beats hi tech. I've never really seen Startrek. From what I have seen it looks like more realistic show than Stargate but Startrek looks like a serious show. In Stargate when theyre having a serious discussion, jack walks into the room and starts talking about donuts. It takes itself seriously without being too serious. I did not vote.
After more research it was determined that 2012 was the end of twinkies.
Out of the three I`m a fan of Star Trek more. The initial series in the 1960s was interesting because to some extent it looked past social conflicts that were present in the 1960s, such as the Cold War or racist attitudes held towards the black community. The bridge was meant to reflect a peaceful and multicultural community on Earth. Idealistic, but it was pretty progressive for its time. The kiss between Kirk and Uhura was a huge deal because it was one of the first inter-racial kisses to be broadcast on TV. Since then most of the series` has touched upon issues relating to the nature of mankind, morals, democracy, etc. It also has its awesome fair share of comedy and memorable characters. Plus, it has this guy:
No Jedi can beat Q.
"A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool."
^Have to admit I lost interest in the series when he left.
They both suck, but not equally. One sucks major spaceballs, while the other sucks as deep as the universe is.
I'm the Star Wars fan, but my mom is the Star Trek fan. I think the prequels are sorta, kinda ok lol, but I didn't like them much :/ As for SpaceBalls, that was LMAO funny![]()
Oh, Hi-deeki, imagine... your kind not eating raw fish! ^_^

The Star Trek reboot will never be as awesome as this.

Just look at those special effects. Screw your CGI.
And as for episodes 1-3...
George Lucas went crazy and wrote each one about a month before filming started on each of them.
Honestly most hardcore Star Wars fans have stopped listening to Lucas a long time ago because his mind is somewhere in a galaxy far far away.
And yeah, I guess Star Wars. A lot of the expanded universe is enjoyable, and the original trilogy will always hold a special place in the ol' blood pump.
I'd say I watch Star Wars for pure entertainment.
And Star Trek I quite liked, and would watch marathons of that.
Just listen to on Star Wars. Star Wars became a franchise based on milking the cash cow. Lucas, lost the integrity of the
series. And its his own series.
Also, Red Letter Media has Attack of the Clones video done now too.
Yeah I did not give the new dude a chance. Startrek sounds interesting anyway, maybe I'll try it. I think we all stopped watching SG1 when MacGyver left. I thought John Shepherd carried the torch in Atlantis pretty good. I haven't seen the new Universe yet though.

Stargate Universe is terrible. It's basically "Let's piss everything Stargate in the face and make a poor clone of 'Lost' with a shaky hand-held camera in space instead".
The only reason I watch it is so that I can join others in discussing how dismally bad it is online.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Star Wars way over Star Trek. I've been a Star Wars fan for a good amount of time, while Star Trek I really never got into.
Nonon Jakuzure - Best Kill la Kill baePretty damn great! #spoke2soonOta "The Cutest Otaku" 2016 - Lol, how's your account doing lately? Oh wait.
i liked the stargate movie but thats just cuz the Spader was in it.
Spaceballs. Period.
