Living the Nightmare

Hello, again. This is Tsuki with yet another poem to share.
This one is a bit odd, and I'm not sure if I like it. Lines in it can be twisted to mean something else ((At least, I hope so)), "good" or "bad" which is pretty much the point of the whole thing. The message behind it can be a bit unclear at parts, but I hope I got the true message through. ^.^

Living the Nightmare

I'm not afraid of death or nightmares,
nor war, hunger or poverty.
I'm afraid of life and dreams,
of peace and money for all.

Death is inevitable, and it is the end to our suffering,
Nightmares remind us to keep moving forward.
War tells us we must fight to survive,
while poverty and hunger make us merciful.

Life seems to last forever,
making us all look to the person above-
just so we can envy them.

Dreams are broken when we realize,
they will never come true.
They'll never be as great as we wish,
and when we accomplish them, we want something more.

Peace makes us blind to the pain,
of the many who are still suffering.
And when the suffering builds up,
it crushes our inner spirits.

With money comes greed,
a need to always want more.
Even if we're at the top,
there's alway something above it.

Yet our world lives on,
with both dreams and nightmares.
War and peace can exist in the same place,
all coinciding with each other.

Our world
Where a person dies and a baby is born,
on opposite sides of the earth-
at the same time.

Though I can't help but wonder,
what will happen when the balance between
"good" and "bad" is thrown off.
When people finally realize,
"good" and "bad" mean the same thing.

What then?

It doesn't seem odd at all it speaks so much truth, to me it means that life is life and there will always be "good" and "bad" and sometimes we might think we are doing a good think but it could be a bad thing depending on what perspectie you have...(I think o_o I dont know if I really explained my perspective correctly I dont really know how to explain it in words.)
