Usually just have it on stand-by. I'd leave it on overnight if I feel lazy and sometimes turn it off when I feel it hasn't been off in a while haha.

My computer is either on.. Or in standby mode. I hate turning it off since it takes forever for things to start back up.... Yeah I work my computer for what it's worth.

The longest time I've had my computer on and connected to the internet was like 30 something days, according to aim. But usually I keep it on unless I get the red lines, and then I turn it off for a day or two.
Between 16-23 hours everyday. I can't stand leaving it on over night, for some reason i feel like it's going to explode.
I rarely turn mines off unless i switch to my laptop, depends what i am doing. Usually aboit 9 hours a day anyways
mine is usaly on 24/7 but i let it rest a few hrs each week.
Usually check it when i get up, go to lectures then it goes on from whenever i get back to whenever i go out/go to bed. Weekends are the same just without the lectures... I know its bad for to be on it all the time, but theres honestly nothing else to do around here!
Usually about 2-3 hours a day, I usually just left it on all them time but that started to hurt the battery.
Mine is on most of the day, as I tend to think of scattered things and hit the pc to research and or goof off in my bored down time. If I am working it is always off, day's off it is on from time I wake till time I go to bed so.
My 2003 Kawasaki z1000, 50.000 miles 1 owner (me), full Yoshimura mod among others.
Taken November 2nd 2010 outside Orlando Florida MMI.
Usually I have it on for 8-12 hours, depending if i'm going anywhere, since i have no life, i'm just on the computer. lol.
my PC is on about 24/7 cause if i shut it of i have to reinstall the video driver .
In life we expect things to go the way that they are supposed to. But it never does when things go bad we go to our friends, our family for help and support to get through the tough times. take care of your family and don't burn your bridges you'll regret it later on
When I whipout my laptop now and again I usually find myself using it for about 4-5 hours. I really wouldn't see the point of surfing the net for longer than that, and as for using it for other stuff, I don't really.
Let's just say that combined, my computer hasn't been off for more than an hour at all in 2010.
Probably about five or six hours a day, on average.
I don't see how all of you can leave your computers on 24/7 ... if I did that I would not only kill my electric bill but also my motherboard O_o;
: The Game. You just lost it. :
My signature was so old it broke. RIP signature.
All day ever day .. When i go to work for FF14
I have a laptop and its always on standbuy I think the longest I have gone with standby mode was about 4 months
It's usually on for 8-12 hours a day on a regular basis...but I never shut down my computer its mostly on stand by. Although, occasionally I do turn it off to install updates or because I felt my computer system needs a rest.
When I go to school, I put my computer to sleep. Then I get home and it's on until I go to bed where I put it to sleep again until I wake up. Then I either turn it on for bit to check some things out, or leave it off until I come back home from school again.
I leave mine on 24/7, with the exception of restarting or upgrading parts.
Personally, in my belief, whether you use it or not it will still age. If your computer is idle its not using anything or moving any parts, except electricity, and even then "vampire appliances" still drain electricity when off. Turning it off only really applies to overheating or if you are worried about image burn.

ayy dyxlesia!
24/7 but online only 2/7
For me i have my laptop on for a while, but luckily i spent cash on a Targus twin-fan laptop cooler to keep it from overheating. Usually i put in on standby if i'm gonna go somewhere, and shut it off if i'm going to sleep or taking it to class.
Man that is whack!

Powerbills are expensive, but I'm too lazy to turn mine off, so it rarely gets any sleep.
