Questions that make you think...

Have you ever thought about ‘thinking’? Have you thought of questions that can make you think?

The idea of putting questions to you that will make you think, itself made me think for a while about what do I think can make someone think and is what I think, right? I thought about what makes me think, then thought about what can make you think and then I started thinking about the process of thinking. This was quite a tongue twister; and even tongue twisters make you think, don't they? They make you think of how to go about saying them! Before this discussion on 'thinking' becomes long, I am thinking of putting forth my first question that will make you think. The question is, Can you stop thinking? Think of this!

I don't think I stop thinking unless I'm in a really deep sleep. Since most people supposedly can't remember them.....do you think you can control what happens in your dreams?

I dont know if I can stop thinking when all I am thinking about how many times you used "think" and "thinking"

When I think of this question, which kind of answers the question, I recall the saying "think before you act."

Is there ever a moment that you are not think of your acts? You have to think of the act in order to do the act, do you not?

So I think the answer is no...

I'd say one always thinks before he acts, simply because I think it requires a thought of some sort to initiate the act.

Yes, it only falls in this category: WOMEN.
Why? Because I don' understand the opposite sex.
Apparently they question me why I'm a heartbreaker.
And to be honest, I cant even answer them.
I can't even lie or make up something to their face.
This question will forever be looming in my head.
FOREVER.

So where does this all come to play? I start to think.
But chances are, I'll forget about thinking and get slapped with reality.
So thinking for me is.....I don't know. I can't think right now. lol

Well, I don't really know but I'm guessing questions like that want us to keep asking and answering.

Women are confusing and irrational. So just don't think about it xD

What constantly makes me contemplate is, oddly, the question 'how are you?'. No no, don't get me wrong, I don't think an hour before responding, I just say 'I'm ok' and only a few minutes after do I initiate the proccess of thinking. I start to reflect on what's happening in my life and so on.
God, I'm miserable <_<

Impossible. Whether a human is exhibiting conscious, subconscious, or unconscious thought, there is always some form of thought present.

With regard to SinYan's question about how we're doing, I think I can understand it a little bit. I have people ask me that same question over and over again, day after day; and it just gets to a point where it's annoying. And honestly, a majority of those people who ask never really seem as if they're interested in an answer, but rather say it simply for the sake of saying something. After thinking about that for a while, I came to the conclusion that it was more convenient for me just to give a quick and simple answer if that's what would satisfy the need of the moment and not even bother really thinking about the question itself. Keep one's eyes set forward for what you're going to be doing, not concerning yourself with how you're doing every moment of the day.

I've thought have not thinking, but when I try to not think, I am forced to think about the impossibly of stopping the thought process.

Some other questions to make you think...

How does glue not stick to the inside of the bottle?

If vegetarians love animals so much, why do they eat all their food?

Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected become the expected?

How can the words 'overlook' and 'oversee' mean the opposite?

Ugghhh, my head hurts =.= Anyways, some questions always have me thinking, like: "Was space always there? If not, what existed before space?" "When did time truly start?" "What would it look like without space?" This is the best I can do to describe my questions. It just seems like everyone has "theories" to everything and not REAL answers; which I'd like to know real bad

Using a thesaurus would help, because I've lost it with all the "thinking."

Yah I have thought about thinking of planning my home server to be build soon. I have thought of thinking of what OS it will run what applications it'll use and how this project will help me with my network.
