As vengance goes. I think its pointless. Like a few other people said. It only leads to more violence and thats something this world doesnt need. Its too much of it going around as is. If I can break the cycle and end it I would but I cant so ill at least make a change by ending it with myself by not keeping it going. So anywho. I think its pointless.

The time you spend seeking revenge on someone is time you could spend on making yourself more useful. Improve your state of mind some other way instead of taking a cheap shot at somebody. Put your pride aside, and be smart about it.
I don't really like using the word karma, but I do believe things have a way of working themselves out. People eventually learn the lessons they need to learn in one way or another. You can only run from realizations for so long.

Putting on a serious face here now *serious face* I only partake in amusing acts of revenge. Like revenge against my roomie for filling my waterbottle with vinager, knowing I lack the sense of smell to detect it before getting a mouthful. Retaliate by putting a banana spider in his cereal box... I win...
Edit: My other friend was quick to comment, "Look man! You got a prize!" followed by the most unfortunate waste of lucky charms I've ever seen in my life.

An eye for an eye just makes the world go blind. Revenge wont bring peace. It'll only leave you empty and alone.
Revenge is only satisfactory during the spur of the moment. If you choose to plan out and take your time with your revenge all you're going to end up with is disappointment and a deep feeling of "what the hell did I just do".
A lot of times, in an attempt to carry out revenge, people involve innocent parties.
For example, you attack someone's child in order to get revenge on them. The innocent part now is involved in the cycle. It is involving the innocent that causes the world to be blind, whereas keeping it between two relevant parties will basically only blind two parties.

I agree with revenge but in a constructive way. Revenge is really just anger and anger as an emotion is dangerous if you let it build up. What you should do is release your anger in a constructive way. Write a metal song or paint a abstract picture that represents your anger. You get rid of some of your anger and hay you might get paid as well.
I quite like what satanists do in this situation(please note I'm not a satanist, this is based on a documentary I once saw so the info might not be 100% correct). They create a doll of the person that has offended or hurt them and they in turn hurt the doll. This way you take out your anger but no one really gets hurt.
