Zazen Boys

A Japanese friend actually recommended these guys to me and I got their second album. I don't even know how to catagorize them, I like to call them Jazz-Punk =P

Its a really crazy sound and it takes some getting used to but if your into it than they are pretty addictive. Anyone else a fan?

I've been a big fan of these guys since Number Girl dissolved; it being by far the better of the three bands produced by the dissolution.

As a genre, they're generally classified as math-rock, with their heavy stop-and-go patterns, though they've shifted more heavily to electonic jazz and funk as time has gone on.
