Favorite American Anime Character

In some anime series or movies, there's an anime character who is American. Either the series takes place in America or they could be a representation of the US, transfer student, they come to Japan for an assignment or a job or just a Gundam pilot with an American nationality.

What is your favorite American anime character (as in an anime character who is American)?

It's okay if it's more than one. More the merrier.

Chibodee Crocket from G Gundam (and yes, Neo America counts!)
Rally and May from Gunsmith Cats.

With all due respect and even though I like Avatar the Last Airbender (I'm going to see the live-action movie), I was referring to anime characters who are either of American nationality or representations of USA, not American animated series which are influenced by anime.

Chibbidy Crocket. I love how G Gundam rather than just being culturally diverse, went out of its way to make sure it was offensively stereotypical. XD Anyone remember Neo Mexico? The floating sombrero in space??

He grew up as a street urchin in New York city where he learned to fight for his own survival before he was recruited by the colony officials to become Neo America's Gundam Fighter. Face! =P
