Yes, that is very true. Besides rules here in AF.com, please understand I have to follow my rules in OPSEC (military rules to civilian & service members alike). I have to protect the confidentiality of my fellow service members as well. If I can dig up pictures from my basic training is San Diego, I'm sure that would be fine. But as far as pictures from my deployment, I believe I can't. I apologize guys. And yes, that does for my M16 as well. =)

There is no military law preventing you from posting pictures of deployments. If you're concerned about OPSEC, that's more of a unit philosophy, and you may use your best discretion. If you're worried about your fellow servicemen and women, then blur out names or identifiable labels.
