Calls for me as well. Phones are expensive enough as it is, I don't need to text people when I can simply do that online.
im not a very big talker so im going to go with texting.
"Groovy"
texting has a lot of advantages, especially on campus when people could be in class and stuff.
talking on the phone for too long makes me feel like a woman. i know thats really sexist or whatever but thats just how it goes

Depends on the situation actually, but I text more mainly because text rates are MUCH cheaper than call rates here in my country. This country ain't called "texting capital of the world" for nothing.
If it's a quick convo, text. If I need to set something up or plan a date, then definitely a call.
I don't talk much on phone. I like hearing others' voices but saying something by text is much easier than actually talking, that's what I think.I'm a too shy person.so text wins!Yays!

Id rather text, i dont like being on the phone
Me and my brother do alot of texting, sometimes phone calls as well. So it's kinda half-and-half.
I don't have texting, so I'm going to have to go with calling.
Although, I really love to type, so I'm not sure how it would be if I had texting.
Text. I rarely call.
I like texting because it's good for when I'm multi-tasking.
Same here, texting is really cost effective especially for short messages/conversations like "whats the plan tomorrow?" or "Where are you?" kinds of messages. Texting sure is quite entertaining too, hehe.
"Texting capital...?" hey, where are you from? Philippines? thats where I'm from, people here just text like crazy!
Truth is a thing which only appears to those who have observed, considered, and made a choice. At the end of the path you chose lies the truth...Believe in it and continue without faltering.
Texting! Because phone call cooks my brain..I hate people calling my phone. lol =D

I prefer texts. They cost less for me. And there are deals here where you could get unlimited texts for one day at an affordable price if you are prepaid.

I prefer talking on phone. It is because my friends and I only call each other and just talk about the school and nothing else so basically, calling is better and most of our friends don't have mobiles because their parents don't allow them to have their own mobiles. Even I don't and I don't get any reason to have one. Yea, our parents do have mobiles but our parents are on work so its obvious we won't like to talk to anyone's parent...
texiting is so much more better girls like it so they have more time to think what to say when we guys talk to them and same with guys. also makes the convo less akward.

I text. And most of the people I talk to are guys and the conversations would be filled with the awkward silence. But the people I have no issue talking to would run up my phone bill because we'd end up talking for hours. Texting is just easier and more affordable.

I hate talking on the phone, it is annoying having to listen to someone ramble on all day about worthless nonsense.

Both are useful. It depends on who you're trying to get in touch with, and what you/they are doing at the moment.
That said, I haven't been using texting as much as I used to, and I also have the internet on my phone, which I hardly use. When my contract expires, I'm going to go with a cheaper plan and maybe a different provider.
I prefer texting, since I don't like to talk directly to people D:
I prefer texting.
Both have its ups and downs, with texting it's something you can do if you don't feel like talking but after awhile too much texting for me personally gets boring.
As for talking if I have something important to tell you I'd rather tell you while talking. But then again I'm not much of a phone person anyways but I would prefer talking over texting with someone.
it really depends on the situation ^o)
- Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain, or live and fight your sorrow!
- Life is but a passing dream, but the death that follows is eternal.
Depends on the situation. If I have to tell someone something that would take 30 seconds to call, I would rather text. If it's an issue that would start a long conversation, then I would rather call.
What's nice with texting is you can keep a record of the message until you delete it. That becomes useful for me when I have to deal with issues that come up with my school's newspaper.
