No power in the 'verse can stop me...
It says my name is "RIIA" when I typed in 'Leah', but my name is not pronounced "Lee-ah" so it doesn't apply. I'm guessing it would be more like "Reiya" or something similar.

nice.
my nickname wouldn't come up
apparently it is unique
You seem to have quite an unusual name! I'm afraid I couldn't find anything like it in the database.

I am too connected to youTo slip away, fade away.Days away I still feel youTouching me, changing me,
Considerately killing me.
I don't really have much to say as regards to this thread, but I have to point this out;
I don't know if you were deliberately misrepresenting the concept, confident that nobody would call on you, or if you really don't know as much Japanese as you would like us to believe, but tatemae/honne is not the same as lying, and it almost sounds like you are analogizing it to someone lying about their identity on the Internet, which would be downright misleading.
Tatemae are not so much lies as phrases that say one thing, but mean another, and it's misleading to say they are lies because usually both parties know what the other truly means. If one party says, "We will consider your proposal", the other party knows automatically that what they really mean is "No". It may seem like lying if you are unfamiliar with how the tatemae/honne concept works, but it is definitely not the same as "lying all the time".
Try again.
Also, you don't have to keep reminding us how knowledgeable you are of Japan in every line of your every post. We get it.

...Datenshi is Japanese. He's lived there his whole life. There is no one more knowledgeable about it than him, certainly not some hostile noob who claims that he's a professor. The only person who called your words into question was me, and only in ONE post. Stop being a goddamn jerk.

Oh, I'm not arguing with you about Japanese semantics. I don't know the language, and I don't claim to. I'm simply pointing out that you've got your head firmly planted up your rear and are announcing to the forum that it smells like roses. With yourself in such a position, no one cares about your credentials...not that we did in the first place.

In Japanese, it is Erika.
(Consonants are pronounced more or less the same way as in English. "A" sounds like a in father, but shorter. "I" sounds like ee in meet, but shorter. "E" sounds like e in met.)
Basically, the same as in English.

On this day of days, most epic and prideful, you were born 15 whole American years ago!
Through the odds and by doing the impossible, you beat out hundreds of thousands of siblings in the great sperm race for the coveted egg.
Probably via hax.
Regardless! You won!
So remember, whenever someone picks on you or calls you weak or small.
Just remind them that you beat out a few hundred thousand other wimps.
And the grand prize was not dying!
My name is Erika
It is "ERIKA" エリカ. (Consonants are pronounced more or less the same way as in English. "A" sounds like a in father, but shorter. "I" sounds like ee in meet, but shorter. "E" sounds like e in met.)

Lovely set made by the awesome Arxia! Thanks so much girl!♥♥♥
My Japanese name is buraianto, so you can guess my actual name.
My name is Calum. The site doesn't have the correct way of spelling it, they spell it as Callum. Assuming Calum and Callum are both the same it is "Karamu" in Japanese.
