Once again, a couple of stanzas here are wrong.

When a stretched heart is released, it is able to fly
Its seed of kindness has been freed.

Before long, my eyes will see the festival floats and flowers blooming
and my heart will be carried to this beautiful place.

張りつめた心 ほどいてあげたら
やさしさの種子をひとつ蒔いておこう

やがて芽を出し 蕾はほころぶ
美しい場所を心に持つ なら

"張りつめた" should be "tied down" rather than "stretched". In the second line of the stanza, they seemed to miss "ひとつ", among other things...
As for the second stanza, I'm really baffled at how one gets "festival floats" out of such a simple kanji like 芽... these two stanzas should be more like:

When a tied down heart is set free to fly
It'll sow a single seed of kindness

Before long a sprout will come, and a bud will open
If one has such a beautiful place in their heart

So if you'd like, here's my translation of it...


When I am lonely, I search for warmth
I follow my precious memories into the distance

A mother, holding her beloved child in her arms
Sings a lullaby in the sunlight

On the cheek of a child off playing in a dream
A fairy places a dimple of happiness

Even when awoken from a dream, a smile is left behind
Such a seed of kindness is in all our hearts

When a tied down heart is set free to fly
It'll sow a single seed of kindness

Someday, everyone will fly freely
