RPG: Transformers: A New Era

[Digital Dragon]

Telephon shook his head. "The boards are fried and the wiring is all ripped up. I would attempt to repair it, but I have certain limitations." He pointed to the dead sockets where his optic receptors had been which still bore scorch marks. "Best I can recommend is we get some mini-bot repair drones in there to reattach the wiring."
His leg lurched suddenly as it began to lose strength, and he forced himself to stand on it in spite of all the internal failures going on in it. He had not done a self-diagnostic routine and had not realized the extent of his own damage. He was glad that his expression was hidden under his faceplate, since his metal grill chomped against itself to stabilize the vibration shaking his framework. He did his best to remain steady, however, not wanting to look weak in front of the humans.
"They must have targeted the shield grid purposefully for it to have taken this much damage. I am afraid we must have a sabateur in our midst. I would not put it past the Deceptacreaps to have a double agent amongst the Autobots or even your own men, Captain." Telephon was unsure of the man's rank, not being able to see his uniform well enough to tell, but he figured "Captain" was a fairly non-offensive term.
The man left after that, replaced by an officer sent to assess the damage of the shields.
Yakk played amongst the debris nearby, rolling around what appeared to be an inactive warhead. Telepohon had not realized what the dogbot was doing at first. "Yakk, get away from that!" Suddenly the warhead exploded without warning, sending Yakk flying into Telephon and knocking him down, barely missing the officer. He pushed Yakk off himself and was sensing the bot had been injured in the blast. In truth, one of the dogbot's legs had been blown apart and much of its outer casing was now missing. Telephon felt along its surface and became aware of the damage. He was still getting a feed from the receptors of his companion, fortunately, so the damage seemed superficial.
The officer had managed to take cover just as the bomb went off, but Telephon could not tell if he was hurt.

Jace was still seated on top of Tri as the other Deceptacons decended into the fight. He pulled a light weight armour out and put in on under his normal clothing. Simple protection from human weapons. He pulled a pair of googles over his eyes and lit up another cigarette. He glanced around to make sure heis googles were working. the upload took a few second but then he could see clear. They were his spotting goggles. Great for being around fights.
"Come on you lazy beast. I wana be out there fightin'" Tri complained. Jace just nooded and lept off him as he tranformed into his motorcycle form. Jace sat the seat and finished his cigarette before lighting another.
"Lets go then." Jace just said as Tri sped off into the battlefield.

Speeding through the ruins and remains from fights was the best feeling Tri could ever have. He enjoying seeing rubble in ways he never knew possible. Of course it would be funner if he was fighting.
"Where have they all gone?" Tri asked.
"Looks like they have retreated behind that." Jace pointed towards a large shielded structure.
"Damn cowards. I wanted to get my claws used today." Tri mumbled. He speed as close as he could to the structure without being spotted or sensed.
"Hey Tri we need to get closer." Jace shouted while typing something down on a portable planner. "All shields have weaks point and we are going to crack this one open."
"What? Idiot what makes you think you can do that."
"Because it's me."
"Ha ha." Tri laugh was strange for a machine, ""You humans and your confidance." Tri readied himself to get closer while Jace pulled up a comm.
"Yo yo, RangeFinder. I'm going to have a go at cracking open this shield. I will be sending you coordinates to fire on in a while. Make sure you are ready for them ya hear."
Tri began to shake in excitment at the chance to get inside the spot and rip open something. So he began speeding off wait for Jace to tell him where to stop.

[Hollow Ichigo]

The Captain stepped into the central command room, located several clicks from the hanger bay, and stood with several others. "Are communications up, and running." He was greeted with a simple no, and was told that the moment UltraSaber arrived their communications went done. the Bio-armor Captain sighed heavily, and removed his helmet. Setting it down on the table before him.

"Things aren't right here. The shields have maybe twenty minutes, but with the Deceptacons firing more, and more the shields wouldn't hold up ten more minutes." The Captain silently thought to himself as the others continued talking, and trying to figure a way out of this mess.

"The underground safe houses each have ships large enough to transport our women, and children. It leads to the SEA."

Everything grew quiet. Everyone in the room staring at the Captain as he spoke. "We'll send them there. They will be fine. there's a small blizzard coming. The Deceptacon forgot that this was a base in the middle of an Ice plane. We'll use that to our advantage. Currently there forces are stationed above the thirteenth weapons depo. Meaning there all standing on a huge land mine. That's how we'll turn this battle around. Without my ship making it's reports back Prime will send more forces. We'll be fine if we can hold out till after the blizzard." The captain smiled as the plan was accepted, and thing began to be put into motion.

Back in the hanger the medical droids continued their jobs. Tyring to get all the ingured into the main base, and giving those that couldn't be help a proper farewell. A few repair driods would come up to all Transformers, and repair any that needed. Starting with the most fataliy ingured, and working their way up. Others used for mecahnic repairs would begin trying to get communications, and Shields back up. These shields would rpove to block al outside attacks. The current shields were for outside, and inside attacks, not allowing them to fire at the enemy while being protected. It would take then thrity minutes to get them back up. At least power was till on.

[The Rogue Devil]

Cyrus knew what had to be done and decided to get ready to fight the seemingly endless amount of Deceptacons. Cyrus looked at his weapons and did a scan on his own suit and found that he had minor damage to his shoulders and legs.

" Captain Natsuki, I want to ask you what will we do if the shields fade and the civilians aren't safely escorted away from here?" Cyrus asked, " Because if need be, I will hold them off for as long as I can until the others escape."

Telephon scrambled to get Yakk and himself to a medical Transformer who could do repairs on them. So far all he had seen were human medics and personnel. All the Autobots there seemed engaged in confronting the enemy invading forces led by the Deceptacons. Telephon was pretty sure his nanobyte med kit would not be able to handle the extensive damage Yakk had taken, but he did activate it and set them to work on his knee. Hopefully they would not come under fire before someone could reach them.

Rangefinder watches the ship's guns shred the defense, and transforms back into hover tank mode, and begins to flank the battlefield, searching for his priority target. His function as sniper was not as important at the moment as his skills as a stealth scout. RazorBlade's shell was the real target. The entire battle was merely a diversion, and he was the one entrusted to do the real work. He transforms into robot mode and runs the last few hundred feet, diving and rolling through the forming shields.

Rangefinder does not respond, sliding across the ground back in hover tank mode, seeking out the primary objective, picking off stragglers with his low-mass gauss turrets.

The scene was only getting worse. The shield held up fine against fire, and the scattered decetptacon forces, those that had been on the other side of the shield when it activated, were slowly being picked apart by the overwhelming Autobot attacks. Nevertheless, this was very bad, UltraSaber grew furious in his plot of destruction.

"I've had enough. JACE!!!!! Begin Firing Sequence of the Fusion Cannon.."

Immediatly things grew into overdrive. Under the command of Jace the Cannon would be Armed, ready at UltraSaber's command.

((ValKarma: Take about two posts to get the Cannon fully charged, and ready. This will give everyone time to react, and everything.))

Outside of the ship thew Deceptacon retreat, falling back under the Flag Ship, a standstill was called. The remaining Deceptacons inside the shields were mowed down, leaving the Autobots to prepare.

"Let's get this done. Reroute those plasma rods into the reactor, and disconnect the safety measures on weapons."

"Now is the time RangeFinder. You have three minutes to find that body before I make you disappear. Failure is not an option. Not for one of your.....Caliber."

UltraSaber stoodstill over the rest of his, slaves as you will, only watching thebase with disgusted.

Jace sighed. He wasn't going to have any fun with people ignoreing him. But Ultrasaber had given the command to fire the new weapon and Jace wasn't sure how happy to be. Driving around on Tri he easily made it to the cannon again. He sighed as he watched the others handle it so roughly. He dropped off Tri and kicked one out of the way. Others soon kept a distance. He rubbed to the side of the cannnon and could feel its heat rise. He whispered a few words and then stepped away from it.

"OK you idiots. This thing is completly unstable and has had no tests runs. Yet its more useful and reliable then you human scum so get me it working as fast as possible. Ultrasaber demands it." Jace smiled at the machine but then his gaze turned hard to the other black devils around him. He loved his new toy. He hated them.

[The Rogue Devil]

Cyrus watched as the Deceptacons retreated and disappeared. He thought that the it was over until he saw the ship and the huge cannon.
" Uh-oh, not good.." Cyrus said looking at the flagship, " We have to do something and fast! I don't know how the shields would react to the force of the cannon."

Cyrus could only watch helpless as he waited for either the Autobots to come with a miracle or to go down fighting.

Rangefinder moves around the place, seeking RazorBlade's shell. He tried to do his best to avoid encounters, but he was on a timer. Using his arm-mounted gauss turrets, he picks off those who spot him with uncanny accuracy, hitting humans with depleted-uranium slugs the size of human fists. The effect is not subtle. When he reaches the bunker in which the shell is stored, he levels his shoulder-mounted plasma rail, and blows out a wall. He steps through, ready for battle if necessary.

A repair team had come over and were seeing to Yakk's repairs. Telephon sat helplessly as they did so, since without the dogbot he had no visual sensors and would do more harm than good. The battle raged on around him and without him being able to play any role in it.
Opening a communications line and scrambling it, he attempted to speak to the autobot in charge. "I need to speak to the Prime," he shouted over the uplink, his voice attempting to be heard over the sounds of explosions and weapons fire.
Fire and debris rained down from overhead.
