Have you ever had a moment when you can just wipe the sweat off your forehead and sigh in relief that everything is going your way now?

For example, say you just finish the hardest level and some vidja game then the power goes out and you're not sure if you saved or not. When the power returns and turn back on the game and see that you did save in the nick of time.

Well have you had any moment like that or something like that?

My grades uber dropped my senior year and I wasn't sure I'd still be accepted into my college. But after a talk I'd been dreading with the office of admissions they still let me go there. Until then I'd been having panic attacks.

I've had that with papers I've written. I'll be typing away and away and get a ridiculous amount done (upwards of 5 pages) and then suddenly my computer loses power. And I just about die inside. Lucky when I get it back running Microsoft Word has usually stored the data somewhere for me to recover. =D

Also, the file of a very good fiction that I wrote became corrupted. I was hysterical, trying to email people I had sent it to, hoping one still had it. None did. However, I remembered that I had saved a bunch of files on my flash drive, and sure enough there it was! I was so happy. =D

Last spring semester I faced a "rock hard on the paper or fail" dilemma, where there was a specific time cutoff to turn in the paper, which happened to be about twenty minutes from where I was at the moment. Literally had to sprint across campus, pause at a computer lab to print it out from my thumb drive, and return to sprinting. Made it there with a little over a minute to spare, to the genuine astonishment of my professor. Given the weight of the bookbag and that I chose jeans for some really stupid reason, I'm more than mildly impressed with what athleticism remained after spending my college years toiling away in front of computers and with my nose in textbooks. (I rocked pretty hard on that paper, too.)

Having a woman at a gun range wear a poorly-chosen shirt and do the hot-brass-dance, turn and flag everyone with a loaded weapon, and have that muzzle come to rest pointed at me... her finally having the presence of mind to lower the weapon was a welcome "whew" moment. The more time spent at public ranges, the more frequently one will have these moments.

Given that I don't handle turbulence in air travel very well (which happens every freakin' time), I've issued many a sigh of relief about being on solid ground again.

I don't think I've ever had a moment like that over a video game.

Hmm, my most recent run in with this would be my business law class. I wasn't doing so great in there, but then I did well on the final and pulled off a B in that class. Not too bad. I tend to plan things out pretty well so I generally don't have too much of a problem with these sorts of things.

In 6th grade I was using the paper cutter and when I pushed down on the blade, I realized my friends hand had not let go of the paper. Luckily he move his hand just in time. We were both very relieved.

One time, i thought i would fail in biology exam but i just passed the border marks *sigh* if i failed who knows how many detensions i would get O_O

Last year, we had a science project. I was so worried I wouldn't finish because we were given 2 weeks and it was the last day. I had nothing done.

I got it finished. And I got the highest grade in the class.

the first exam for this year, i thought i was going to fail in Hindi...luckily, i passed by about 10 marks..o.O

one day i was walking back home from school (3 years i ago . i was 14) , earlier that day had a nightmare of my mom dying in an accident, so as i was walking back home i saw a small crowd in the middle of the road . i asked one of the bystanders what happened , he said " A women died just now in an accident by coming under the bus " . i was almost numb , my brain stopped working . . . . i ran to the place and to my relief so it was some other poor women . . . .

but still i felt sad for her . she was someones mother too you know. . . .

uh, worst thing . . . being late in the morning.
I happen not to like to sleep during the night, and wake up later than I should. It doesn`t take long to get ready, but the stoplights are my mortal enemy when it comes to the morning "getting to school on time". I`ll get there with less than 2 minutes, run full speed to my locker, open it and dump all my crap/grab crap I need, climb up two floors of stairs at amazing speeds, run around half the floor, and get into the classroom with 10 seconds to spare. No tardies for me unless they`re excused.

lol my friend and I tried to drift with my car wich at the time had a worn out suspension, and bent steering colum and some other issues, we nearly rolled the car, until my friend pulled up the handbreak and we spun out, it was fun for me even when I could touch the road from out side my car window, but my friend didn't like it as much.

For me theres the time i was at a big family bonfire and was running around on this farm, in the pitchblack with my little cousins, i suddenly hit something and winded my self and was in quite some pain, then a torch shined on me and i realised that i had run between to huge spikes and hit between the middle of them, if i was like 10 cm off i could of really hurt myself, and these were on some sought of tractor, but this was a true moment of me wiping the sweat of my forehead.....

I'm always really stressed when I'm traveling as I'm scared of missing my bus/train/flight/whatever. If something or someone (including me) isn't on time, I get paranoid and believe I've missed it...

last year i was dorming with a bunch of older students and they bossed me around ALL THE TIME so between school, chores, and work i had no time for a life! I had no luck with women either and i felt like no matter what i did i was always gonna have to work 4 times harder than everyone else. then one day a girl came flying out of my room mirror and offered to grant me one wish. she was pretty smokin so i asked her to live with me forever. luckily she thought i was the cat's pajamas too so she used her magic often and its like gettinf 400 more wishes every day.

2 years have passed and i think eventually our paper thin relationship will advance to holding hands....IN PUBLIC!

Deadline of a comic a year back, man that was crazy. My car broke down and I was like oh crap...saw the time 10 minutes. Oh crap in deed. Man I took of like speedy gonzalas there was no hell in way I was missing my deadline. I don't even know where that car went hahahahaa. Man I had to buy another and everything.

This actually happens to me often. Most recent was when my friend and I almost got hit by a car going over 90mph, not braking. Luckily my friend saw it on time and gunned it to the next lane. We followed the driver after.

We hit an air pocket and the plane kinda jerked. The flight attendant kinda freaked and I got all tense. Started saying my prayers.
