For ALL u Late Nighters

When I say "Late Nighters" i mean those of us who are..I wanna say nocturnal,but not all people who stay up late sleep in the day. WELL anyways why do we all stay up this late? I'm just curious to know why everyone else stays up to hours that are so late they might be considered early.

I stay up late at night, just because I know I wouldn't fall asleep even if I did go to sleep. That's probably because of my insomnia.

I often do it cos it's really quiet at night and it allows me some peaceful time to read or do something relaxing before I sleep

I don't particularly like staying up late, but I'm forever getting caught up chatting or reading or watching a film or - well, anything that means I get a late night. It's a bad habit ):

Because Discotheques and Night Clubs suck, and we stay up late to compensate for the time we would have wasted there.

i'm a pure night owl. i'm up till the sun is each day for the last few years. mostly i do so because i enjoy the quiet time i get when everyone else is asleep. it's also when i get my most comp work done, and game playing too :P
also i do it because i love the night itself ^^. it's a full moon here tonight, so its a given that i'll be outside soon enough finding something to do.

Well people lose track of time doing things online or watching something good on TV. In my case it's the internet and other stuff on the computer. Also sometimes night is more peaceful then day hours as there is a lot less noise and yelling and I like it when it's dark for some reason.

When I have school, it's because of that. AP classes will be the death of me. Right now it is because of my nightmares. Can't sleep and don't want to. Then, of course, there is YouTube. Curse you YouTube! xD I must watch my Dresden Files though!

Day is too short for me to do everything I plan to do, such as watch/read Anime/Manga or play Video Games.

There are many reasons why I stay up late. I like the quiet, peaceful, darkness, I usually don't get tired until around 1 am, and horror animes/movies are so much cooler at night. :3

My fears wont let me sleep... Then again, I wake up too late to be tired enough to get into bed at a decent time.

I usually allways do something that I wanna finish when its getting late. Like watching a movie or playing a game. This results in me beeing overtired and not able to sleep. Then whenever I try to turn my sleeping rythem back it allways fails. Its a vicious circle =/

It's usually because I can't sleep, or I'm watching TV, or looking at stuff on YouTube. School is also a factor, but I just can't get to sleep at an early time. Perhaps my downfall?

When I stay up til late (for me late is like 2 in the morning onwards), it's mostly because I find interesting/fun threads on /a/, /m/ or /co/ that I would never forgive myself if I missed them.

I stay up late because it is so peaceful and quiet, also even if i did go to bed i wouldnt get to sleep, id just lay there for ages regretting the fact i went and hopped into bed

Cause I want to enjoy the night. I prefer night than day too.
IDK but I also watch the moon from my window, whenever it's up then somehow I just fall asleep.

I stay up late because I like having the house to myself and blast whatever music I want, etc.. Plus that's when its really quiet and peaceful outside, unlike during the day.
