by selfish I mean that you will do things with little regaurd for anyone else just you and your loved one, or your loved one will make you do things that you dont want to saying "that if you dont do them, you dont love them as much as you say you do" trust me I have been there.

Love... It can be the greatest thing every received. The greatest thing given. The greatest thing shared. It can elevate you to a state of happiness to surpass all other things. Yet, when taken away, the backlash of it can cause the most unbearable pain imaginable. An emotional state that can manifest physically. Debilitating pain...symptoms of sickness...

Love is far from blind. When people say love is blind they don't mean that you don't see the other person's flaws or wrongs, it means to see those wrongs or flaws and be able to look beyond them.

As for myself, I found love, loved it (pun intended) and am still enjoying it very much. I have the most spectacular girlfriend in the world.

And you see like 11 year olds suffering from a broken heart or whatever and its just like "what the... -_- is this for real?"
But on the serious side, i think, like Da Game says, its painful, love is pain, but is awesome at the same time?
I guess the pain is all worth it, if its for real.

Personally I believe love (as in the love between a man and a woman) to be a direct function of lust. I love my best friend, he's one of my favorite people.. and I'd take a bullet for him. I still don't love him in the way that I love my fiance. This is because I am not sexually attracted to him at all. It is this natural attraction that people fall "in love".

People feel threatened by what I've said.. and attack me for it, but that's just because they're scared to admit that love isn't "magic".

I think it's amazing. It gives you something to look forward to. Some people may dislike it because of the hard feelings it creates when something goes wrong. But I think if you truly love someone you can get around the hardships safely.

The problem is that both people refuse to agree with one another. My two friends did the same thing. One refused to step down and always fought. Thus it ended badly in the end. However I remain friends with the one I love because I understand when it's my fault and apologize. Even when it's not I still say sorry so I don't disrupt anything.

I know how love feels like but I rather never have that feeling again. With love comes pain at some point in time, there is no way of avoiding it. Tho it can be prolonged.

Love can feel good but it can hurt it has 2 sides but id rather fall in love and get hurt then never feel it

Love isn't necessarily romantic or sexual. You can love anyone or anything. Love is the best feeling in the world.
As for romantic love, with me it's always been one-sided: either they love me and I don't love them or vice versa. Typical for an Enneagram Type Four.
