Woohoo. Yeah I'm learning how to make my mental images appear on 'puter with zeeeee pen tool and it's pretty fun. Your beam could do with a bit of depth though, no?
Doodle away I say!

Hm, from the first from the very last. Wow, I gotta agree you have improved over the months/years. Your working with color now more than just brushes, the text is good, but still try to filter around the texts. My advice is try using more renders like Clouds>Different Clouds> and what-not, major concern is the rendering. =) but over all good luck on the renders, try to mess around with the blur effects a bit.
[my stuff] I make my sigs.

I want to blend my renders in now. OwO I'm working real hard to make these sigs better for everyone to see.

Something that I find helps with blending the render into the background is either blurring the edges of the render if it is pixelated, and/or taking the render layer and do "alpha to selection", then create a new layer underneath the render layer and grow the selection by a few pixels, feather it a bit, and then bucket fill with a color that matches either the sig or the render. I'm not quite sure if that was clear or Photoshop compatible, so bear with me. Other than that, there are many tuts that can help you. I'll leave it up to the more experienced artists to direct you to those, if you need them.
I have learned to blur the edges and sharpen the render, it's called depth xD Any case, I'm still working on that since I finally am getting used to applying it to my sigs.

Oh! Is that your character? jw.
I love the effects with the lights!! All the shardy-lighty-goodness is awesome. lol
I would've added a thin border, though. But that's just me.
Keep up the great work!! ♥
I envy you for the nice display of fx. But the render looks choppy. If you want you could still make-up for that using gaussian blur then set it to lighten or multiply.

What I'm seeing is that you overuse C4Ds. Some images don't work with C4Ds others do. Also I would erase bits of the stock that are over contrasted or blur the bits that look overshapened.
I really like the stock placement though, they're all placed or cropped in a rather nice way.
;D
I'd have to agree with Kona-chan here.
If you can make it more pleasing to the eye instead of making the C4Ds clashing together and 'invading the eye', I think that you would be able to make AWESOME signatures. Try a few tutorials and then you'll see how most signatures are blended together and through applying yourself to tutorials you yourself will also learn different techniques that you never thought of.
For example, for some cool lighting, after you're done with a certain stage, make a new layer, then Image>Apply Image, then copy that layer. On the copied layer, do a Gaussian blur to about one pixel and set to overlay and change the opacity. It will create some unique lighting, but if overused it will destroy the overall look of the signature.
Keep it up, and keep trying and you will do very good in the future.
Won't be making sigs for a while, I got finals to do =/
