Did any of you so something special for father's day or for you?
Do you have any interesting stories you like to share on your biological/adoptive/in-law father?

When is father's day? I'm technically my own dad in my school guardian forms. I put down my friends phone number as a way to contact "my dad".
Here's a funny story: A while back I got suspended from school for a reason not to be mentioned. They called my friend to come pick me up. He picks up the phone in class and apparently he asked the teacher to go to the bathroom. Later he goes opens the door for me in the office to get out and my parents never found out. Fun times.
I don't really speak to my father due to the fact that hes a complete jerk to my whole family, I choose not to socialize with him. So, no I have done nothing for fathers day.
Funny how? Funny like a clown? Do I amuse you?
I called mine, since we live in different states now. Last year I brought home some beer that he liked, and we grilled burgers together. Mom got left out, she doesn't like beer or hamburgers. I think she got some takeout.
Any time I call him, he always goes on about his political stuff. We vote the same way, but for different reasons. He's involved in one of those Tea Party groups in NY, and I'm glad for it. He's retired, and it gives him something social to do.
Got a card. Fixed the vcr so he could watch these old school nature videos we have. Stayed in last night.
Nothing here, too. I don't even know what the guy looks like - never met him.
Now that I'm getting a little older, I've been thinking of hiring a friend of a friend to track him down, just so I can see what this cat looks like.
Got him a card with a monkey on it

We watched: Hancock, Welcome Home Rosco Jenkins, Tropic Thunder, Transformers, and something else together.
we went out to eat and saw a movie
My Dad and I have always been pretty tight. He, my mother and sister went to church this morning, and I stayed at home and cooked breakfast for them all. I was actually going to volunteer to go with them, even though I'm no longer any kind of Christian (Catholic, to be specific), but they were on their way out the door when I woke up.
It was a pretty damn delicious breakfast, although basic. Pancakes, eggs, smoked sausage and bacon. I also wrote him something last night, and left it for him to find this morning. Mom told me this morning that it moved the both of them to tears (for good reasons).
Happy Father's Day Dad!
I went to drop off my folks's house key today (we were pet-sitting all last week, silly fat dogs), and wished him a Happy Father's Day. He was half-asleep and thought I was asking for money. :/ Thanks, Dad!
i thought it would be a good idea to go muddin with my dad cause i just got done workin on a lift for my truck which took me a good two days. and i take him out and hes all excited and i wind up floodin my engine in a massive mud pit and we were stranded for about 3 hours till my buddy jeb could come get me. but im sure he had fun spendin time with my dumbass. I'm sending him a crap load of pictures of me on campus. He likes pictures. And yes, I'm sending him pictures. I haven't sent them yet. The camera can't be developed until it's full. >.<

I will tell you 'bout the sun

But it does not mean a thing to me ..."
I just told him Happy Father's day that's all do we don't really do presents.

My brother and I just cooked him (and our mom, really, since we didn't let her participate in the cooking) a pretty nice dinner. Lemon-pepper king salmon cooked on a plank of cedar, a white rice/wild rice mix seasoned with the same lemon pepper seasoning and some fresh-squeezed lemon juice, rough-chopped green & yellow squash cooked in a pan with a little oil also with fresh-squeezed lemon juice, and a sprig of parsley (home-grown) and a wheel of lemon on the fish for garnish. Cooked, cleaned, and like two individuals experienced in the restaurant industry, all in good time. A normally $14+ meal for a hair over $8 per person isn't bad either. On Dad's Day yesterday, my brother, mom, and I pitched in for a new book by Bobby Flay and a stove-top smoker for him. (Can you tell we're a family that loves the kitchen yet?)
Does that count?
