Have you ever tasted blood?

I know that sounds insane, please do not think that I am some sadist or something like that . The true meaning I meant was: If you ever inadvertently or deliberately tasted blood? Somehow after watching all that anime-vampire stuff I just got that question in the head. (I don't mean you suck blood). So please write if you did and what was the circumstances and what did it taste like
I'll start.
There was one circumstance when I had tasted blood. It happened inadvertently. I was about 10~ year old when the boy in my yard without the reason thrown rock straight to my head. It hit my forehead and I started bleeding heavily, the blood ran over my face. And naturally out of shock it got into my mouth. ( Later all blooded up I had gone to that boy's grandmother and she got more shock than me, when she saw my bloody face )
I can't say it tasted good.

well in rugby games (contact sport) it happened a few times well its tastes almost like nothing and it happened in some fights to.

When I was small i like to put my tounge in a fan so it would go numb and bleed. i was a weird little boy.

Just as a note people, if you have red blood (as you should...right?), your blood should taste should taste like iron, since our blood has hemoglobin (which has iron in it).

Your blood would only taste like copper if it has hemocyanin in it (which it doesn't...right?), and in that case, your blood would be a nice sky blue color (when you bleed, anyway).

Tasted blood almost every time I have cracked lips. I'm one of those weirdoes who like peeling their skin (in this instance, the lips)... Like biting the skin off until it tastes a bit iron-y (hey... weird... iron-y... iron-ic? iron-ish? GAH.)

I'm also one of the people who suck my wounds (except if located below the waist... I am NOT sucking my toe wound.). Never tasted anyone else' but that would be an experience.

Taste? Hm yeah. Not too shabby. I've tasted worse. I wouldn't mind tasting it again... Although... Uhm... Those things in the movies where the blood is drank from a cup and looks sort of jelly-ish? NO THANKS.

(Btw.. I came from a country where blood is actually cooked and eaten. Taste good. The dish looks black.)

Ahem, yes, I have tasted both pennies and blood. Isn't it natural? You bite your tongue, cut the inside of your mouth...your lip cracks when it gets dry in the winter...kind of can't avoid it, I think! There's also that instinct where you stick your finger in your mouth after stabbing it with a sewing needle by accident...that can't only be me!

I would not, however, actively seek out blood to taste.

its not that unpleasent like most of ppl says. its good actually, i like the copper taste of it but i dont cut or wound myself for it.
i just like the taste.
