For a girl, how about "ReBaka". It's like Rebbecca but Baka'd up a bit.
For a boy, I like Thurston. It's the name of the singer for Sonic Youth.

I just like those names. Plus my sister always calls me Jacylie even though that is not my name...lol
Funny how? Funny like a clown? Do I amuse you?
Hrm... -Slups on my coke in an overly obnoxious way as I give some thought as to what it is that I want to say- Names, eh? Can't say as I've never given it some thought. Not that I've ever seriously considered ever having children of my own, but after all the times I've seen people give their children some of the fruitiest names I've ever heard, I often wonder what I'd name my theoretical kid.
Female Names:
1.) Maria: I like this name in that it's short and sweet, yet has a powerful meaning behind it in that it means "rebellion". 'Course this isn't to say that it'd be anything more or less than a life or death struggle if my theoretical daughter was half as rebellious as I was when I was kid; but I'd be darn proud of her if for nothing else than the drive to never give up.
2.) Sophie/Sophia: Just an outright beautiful name meaning "wisdom".
3.) Sakura: I know, I know... but I couldn't just make a list without putting at least one Japanese name up for grabs. 'Sides, 'twould be a perfect example of a traditional father's overprotective and smothering attitude to give his daughter a name so that anywhere and everywhere he'd go, he could claim his child to be of such beauty and elegance that she would rival the indescribable beauty of the cherry blossoms themselves.
4.) Aura: Just 'cause.
5.) Ciel
Hrm... well, I could go on, but I think five is a decent start. Alrighty then, moving onto my theoretical son's names!
Male Names:
1.) Asher: As anyone who's done a bit of research into Hebrew culture will know, Asher means "happy one". Though I just like it 'cause I think it sounds cool.
2.) Shinn: Do I really need to say it?
3.) Alex: You can't get much cooler than getting a name that means "defender of mankind". 'Course I suppose that would be sort of a contradictory meaning if my theoretical son ended up wanting to destroy the world. x.X
4.) Ryan: Just 'cause it's my real name and I've always liked the way it sounds.
Eh, I'll revise this list later. 'Tis late, and my weary body and mind needs to get some rest.
My thanks to Xey Oiz for the awesome new set.
"Screw being normal and be awesome instead!"
I could go with Bjorn. I'm a bit Swedish...and it's a cool name.
I like the names Matt and Zach for a kid (in most of their lengthened forms, too). Never really thought of a daughter, but I think Dani is nice. Neither chosen for any meaning, as I don't know their meanings, but just for their sounds.

Kid, pick up with another, some will even drop you, but hearts are built like rubber, so you'll be alright.
